Ok hotel, bar staff very pleasant.

The bar area was very relaxing.

The carpets throughout the hotel were very badly stained and needed replacing. The breakfast was not worth £14.95

Breakfast was good, I only tried Veg English brakfast. Room was big including a giant bathroom and it was clean.

The bed was not comfortable. It was two single bed beside eachother not a double or twin bed.

Modern, uncluttered & everything worked. Basic but it met my needs. Quiet & I slept well.

Enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable and cosy, appreciated the decor. Fabulous room service pizza from The Parsons Collar. Appreciated the ease of parking.

We didn't stay for breakfast due to the cost. We only required cereal and coffee and £30 per morning for my son and I was significantly too much. It is a shame that use of the pool was not affordable, we only wanted a swim and there was not an option only to pay for that.

1 night break

The bed was comfy, the shower is huge, powerful and hot. I liked that there is a good sized ironing board and a hair dryer provided. The room is modern and was spotlessly clean.

Size and quietness of room .

We had booked and paid for 3 nights the computer system was showing us as only 1 night. Luckily we saw housekeeping after our first night as she was ready to go in and clear our room .

One night stay for a couple

Nice and clean, very comfortable, good continental breakfast- cooked breakfast available if you want one, great location 5 mins from M27. Plenty of free parking, If it's full at the front there's loads of space at the side. It's linked to a Thwaites pub, The Parsons Collar, which is very handy for food and drinks. Breakfast is also served there as well. The Solant spa Hotel is also on the same site if you fancy a very nice upgrade.

Really small double bed. Tiny. Not on a par with other budget stays (Premier). Room was cold. Had to ask for extra heater as heating didn't work. (cold November). Shower door ill fitting so bathroom floor flooded. Wouldn't stay again. Wouldn't recommend.

We loved the room especially on the ground floor as I mobility issues.

Everything perfect for us

Couldn’t book for our next cruise in December, we wanted to book while we were still at the property. But nobody could help us. Tried to book again when we returned none but still didn’t hear anything so gave up and have booked the HOLIDAY INN INSTEAD.

Great value but didn't get to sleep

Great location, nice spacious room, very clean

High pitched ringing coming from the electrics (potentially the headboard and/or TV which you can't cut the power off for), which kept me up all night. Noise wasn't noticeable at first, but when you are trying to sleep that is all you can hear. Additionally, it would be nice to have low profile pillows available. Pillows were too high for me, causing uncomfort and neck pain.

Staff were very helpful

Very cold in the pub at breakfast. Didn’t get a menu when we arrived for breakfast. Breakfast was very expensive considering my son only had pastries that were cold.

Ok but not the ‘warm Hampshire welcome’ if arriving after hours

Large room, lots of car parking

Turning up late on a Sunday, which is not unusual with business travel and I have done at multiple places. I was waiting at reception until a member of staff came up- didn’t acknowledge me at all but called someone with a question and mentioned I was there. When I was seen, I was told they didn’t have my booking and had no solution to offer- saying it was booking.coms fault. After travelling for 2 hours and needing to be somewhere in the morning with no alternatives nearby, I wasn’t really interested in why, just wanted a room. They did have one so not sure why this wasn’t forthcoming. The welcome generally was non existent. Suggest night staff need training as day staff were better.
