The owner is so welcoming and friendly and did everything he could to ensure we were happy and comfortable during our stay. He cooked us breakfast in his home every morning, which was just down the hill from the hotel. The view was amazing and we could see the train pass by from our balcony. The location is a 5 minute walk to the center of Ella, where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. The room was clean and bathroom was good!
Everything was great for us! There was no option of aircon in our room, but Ella was relatively cool in temperature so this was fine as we had a fan provided in the room. The location was great for us, but people who aren't as able to walk up steep hills will need to be mindful of the hills and steps in the side of a bank on the train tracks.

What an amazing place! An absolute must if you are in Ella. Ishara and Lasanti are the most perfect of hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. We were lucky enough to stay in their brand new room and it was fantastic! The breakfast: wow!!! Everything about this place is perfect. The best place we’ve stayed in the whole of our three week trip in Sri Lanka.
