Hostal Tree House

Loved everything, especially the rooftop and breakfast. The rooms are clean. Although the WiFi is a little slow, I was still able to work comfortably. I even extended my stay here.

We absolutely LOVED this place! It's vibe is mainly made from Wood & other lovely little items are attached to make it feel good & organic, we felt home instantly. The upper setting is amazing & the higher terraces are just making it a relaxed safe zone, above from all the movements of the little town of Ella. It's not very quiet for sleeping, so be prepared. But the lovely setting, the outstanding price & the amazing breakfast (included!) def. makes up for it. Also try the rest of the menu: we loved it! The common areas were really cozy and wonderful for rainy afternoons and the view was nice. Especially the morning was nice for listening to the birds around. The staff were really friendly. Food was good.

Finding the staff was sometimes a challenge, it is open so can get very hot or cold depending on the weather. Its extremely noisy (which isnt the hostel’s fault because its due to the town businesses) which made it difficult to sleep at night. The wifi was very poor so if you have to work, combined with the night noise you would have a challenging time. And getting up to the room itself was like a short gym trip although it is called a ‘tree house’ so keep it in mind. In addition the cleanliness of the bathroom was questionable.
