Dar Sofil - Adults Only

I was so intrigued when I saw Dar Sofil only had great reviews and now I am glad I can attest that those are so well deserved. Before I booked, I looked it up on every social media and read all reviews and they’re pretty legit. My husband and I were looking for an all inclusive that focused on relaxation since we were travelling for a short period for my birthday. Dar Sofil was perfect for the purpose. Noise levels close to zero. All the staff was absolutely wonderful especially Mohammed and Mehdi, they spoiled us the entire stay and always went above and beyond. We booked an airport transfer with the hotel and from there we got great recommendations from Khalil (big kuddos to him, he was so kind and helpful as well) on what to try/do/visit in Marrakesh. Our room was nice and always super clean, I usually wake up with a blocked nose in hotels from the air conditioning not being cleaned properly but it never happened to me here, I slept like a baby. I particularly loved the scent used in the shampoo + the shower gel and also that the toilet is separated from the shower/bath. My husband loved the small terrace every room has so we had almost every meal there. The food at Dar Sofil in general is pretty tasty and delicious, super fresh as well, we only ate out once; we are obsessed with the Lamb & Pear Tagine in Dar Sofil, we literally ordered it daily so I highly recommend. I’m a big breakfast person and it was sooo good every day and quite filling as well, I loved the yogurt, without exaggeration it’s the best one I’ve had in my entire life. The pool is simply amazing, I really liked that there are different sitting/lounging places around it, my favorite were the beds in front of the pool at night. There’s wifi in the rooms and pool. Dar Sofil truly feels like an oasis. Words are not enough to describe how good we felt in this hotel, we simply LOVED it and I am SO glad I trusted my instinct when I booked Dar Sofil.

General areas: So nice. The colours. The smells. The interior. The garden and flowers. Amazing. Room: Beautifully designed. Perfect and comfortable. Breakfast: Delicious. A bit too much for us, so reluctantly returning food, but others may find it the right amount. Pool: Design, cleanliness and atmosphere.

Absolutely nothing.

The artwork and the cleanliness was top notch.

Stunning hotel about 25 minutes drive from the Medina. Only a few rooms all facing the beautiful pool. The owner is an architect which shows. This is one of the best appointed accommodation we have stayed in for many years. Perfect for a relaxing get away.
