Terrible nights sleep.

Convenient for overnight stop on way to Calais.

There was a faulty air conditioning unit in one of our rooms - it made incredibly loud noises all through the night (whether turned in or off) which meant it was impossible to sleep. As no night time reception there was no option to change rooms. The upstairs room was fine and both rooms were clean.

The rooms are small but clean — perfectly fine for a roadside hotel.

The toilet didn’t flush well. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to buy water from the snack machine.

Breakfast consisted of bacon as the only hot option. Room not cleaned well- chewing gum, dirt & fluff left in a corner. Arrived at 14.30, so had to use automatic book in - which was offline! Told to contact reception in opening hours at 17.00! However, a member of staff found someone who could book us in, which he kindly did. Room was exceptionally small having 2 medium dogs & 2 adults- hotel aware in advance of dogs travelling with us.

Rubbish air conditioning for a modern Hotel

Ease of booking & convenience

Poor/ineffective air conditioning in room. Had I known this I would not have booked. Room was at 23 Degrees C after 2.5 hours even with air conditioning set at the lowest setting!! This problem was unable to be resolved during my stay, therefore I will avoid booking a B&B Hotel in future.

Room larger than other B&B rooms. Easy to use self check in. Free car parking. Pet friendly. Good breakfast.

Bathroom smelt of urine. Shower cubicle small & curtain stained. No where to put toiletries/toothbrush etc. Old & tired decor throughout , although new furnishings had been installed. Room smelt stale. Holes in curtains.

Cheap, cheerful and simple.

Easy location when transitting France en route elsewhere. Hotel is pure budget, but meets minimal needs and was good value for money. Breakfast was surprisingly good, and although there were 4 of us, there were no complaints at all. Parking was easy and sufficient and the lady that ran reception and breakfast service was pleasant and very helpful. Cheap, cheerful and exactly the short stop over with no frills that we expected.

The room we had was reasonably spacious for a family, but the bathroom had seen better days and needed a refurbishment.
