The location, the well equipped kitchen, the large comfortable double bed and the restaurant on site.
Nothing we didn’t like.

This was our second time to overnight at the Auberge and once again the welcome was warm, our gîte was well-equipped and comfortable and the whole place, restaurant included, was unobtrusively dog-friendly. The surroundings are blissfully peaceful and the LeShuttle is just a relaxed 30 minute drive away. Because the weather was a little chilly this time, we ate inside in the wood-panelled dining room where an open fire kept everything pleasantly cosy. The food was hearty and delicious and being able to keep our dog with us was a much-appreciated bonus. We were tucked away from other diners, so no one was disturbed and the dining room is plenty big enough to accommodate everyone. The same was true of the outside patio area where we ate before.
After a fine meal followed by a great night's sleep, we left well-refreshed next morning. Merci beaucoup!

Great value for money. On-site restaurant is lovely.
The gite is comfortable but it is ready for a refresh. It’s just a bit tired, but given the price it’s still great.

Always enjoy my stay at the Auberge. I stay in a wonderfully equipped Gite (number 1) which has access to the garden and is spacious and always spotlessly clean. Perfect communications to receive the code to the lock box (nobody available as I arrived on the day of the national holiday) but everything was as I have come to expect.
Very sorry the restaurant wasn't open (nowhere was) but I will savour their steak and chips when I come back next year, which is a certainty.
Thank you to Coralie and the team for making me feel like I was at home.

This was my second visit and I’ve already booked my third. Always receive a warm welcome from the owner and her sausage dog.
It’s within striking distance of the ferry port and the restaurant is really lovely.
Gîte 1 is clean and comfortable with views to the garden. Plenty of easy parking.
Some great dog walks a short distance up the road
Could possibly use voiles on the windows for privacy, but no real negatives.

We have visited many times and hopefuly will continue to return. We usually book for 2 nights, so that we can get a break between driving through France (largely pleasurable) and the horrendous prospect of driving to the North of England on largely inadequate and hopelessly overcrowded English roads. Breakfast and dinner are available but we prefer to use the well-equiped kitchen to prepare something when we feel like it. Wonderfully relaxing rural retreat.

Comfortable and well equipped apartment in a quiet rural setting. Access to a large garden. We were able to bring our dog, who appreciated the lawn area, and the dog was allowed into the restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Mondays (we arrived on a Monday expecting to be able to eat there), but ate there on Tuesday and had a really good meal, not cordon bleu but tasty and large portions.
The kitchen could benefit from the addition of a few items; we had to ask for a cork screw for example.

The host offered to drop off fresh bread and croissants in the morning for a reasonable price. The host spoke French which we liked. There was a great restaurant on site at reasonable prices, and the kids loved the animals.
all good, there were some renovation works going on but the workmen were discrete and we were out most of the day anyway.

Location and staff. Excellent restaurant on site. Plenty of outdoor space. The animals were amusing - especially the goat & chicken.

really well appointed and great value.
we were just stopping over before getting the tunnel back to U.K. in the morning but it was a very comfortable bite with very thing you’d need for a longer stay. the village itself was a bit disappointing with no shop, and the only option for getting some food the self service Pizza Machine. that aside if w had been a bit more organised the kitchen was well equipped for making anything. lovely bedding and towels and a very friendly lady to greet us.
