A disappointing place that was uncomfortable, overpriced with no AC and an uncompromising manager

Only the location

The advertising to this property was very inaccurate. We were told in writing that the room had a sea view (Room 1C) but didn't and that Garay Apartments had a pool, restaurant, bar and gym. It didn't, we had to cross a busy road to another hotel approx 75m away. The sofa and beds were very uncomfortable. The TV had no channels in English and there was no air conditioning. Euro18 per day for a noisy portable AC unit that would have only been installed in the lounge. The ceiling fans had 1 speed, very slow. I was told I should have read the fine print, of which I have never had to rely on after 20 years of using Booking.com

Brilliant find for 3 mature ladies wanting a room each

The apartment was very spacious, spotless and had every home comfort you could wish for. Easily sleeps 6 adults one en-suite room and one shared bathroom. Communication from the host was excellent and getting in was a breeze. The pool area at the adjoining hotel was clean and plenty of sunbeds available. Remember this is not a hotel so take towels if you are staying longer than a few days however there is a washing machine in the apartment.

There was nothing not to like. There is no air-con but rooms have ceiling fans.

Location was ideal. The apartments offered everything you need for a stay. The bathrooms were to a good clean standard and I he use of a balcony was great.

Apartment 8C, the bench seat outside had no cushions and it was very uncomfortable. A dining table and chairs for the balcony would have been good.

Lovely place to stay and would stay again!

Location was great for those that had no walking issues and for those that did they caught a taxi easily, Apartments were spacious and tidy and any issue we had were resolved quickly by the hosts.

Some of the beds were a little uncomfy, the building is also give quite an echo so we were concious that sometimes our voices/noise travelled

Location is remote from clubs and bars. Apartment needs upgrading especially bathroom facilities. No decent dining/bar facilities near the apartment. Taxis needed for less fit members of our group

Fabulous spacious apartment with amazing view

Absolutely loved our stay and spacious apartment. Loved communication via WhatsApp with Cruz and quick réponses. 10mins walk into the old town and the beach and 20mins to new town. Also near the tram for Dénia and Alicante lines

The apartment was great very spacious with everything we needed.Great views from balcony and location within easy walking distance from 10 mins to old town and 20 minutes to the new town .Staff were great and quick to communicate.

Excellent value, comfortable facilities. Great for larger family or small group.

Excellent value for money. Easy to deal with and communicate with. Beds super comfy, great water pressure, useful welcome pack and 'mini bar'. Washing area with airer and pegs. Link with Prince Park enabling use of pool and other facilities and their staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Shower curtain could have been longer to make easier to not wet floor. A few furnishings are a little tired but everything functions and well stocked. Foyer had over powering smell but this is probably not Garay apartments fault.

Really good fun, everything you could ask for in a short stay

Apartment was really nice, clean and staff were very good with contact over WhatsApp with a fridge that was already stocked on arrival. McDonlads across the road with supermarket next door

Only problem was it was a bit of a walk from the strip and nightlife, about 20 mins if that but wasn’t a problem for our group

Lovely apartments had everything we needed

Location amazing a few minutes walk from main strip, Massive apartments we'll equipped, amazing view from 10th floor , quick communication from host , allowed early check in , nice and quiet , the use of hotel facilities next door which was only across a small road, would happily book again

The washing machine was a godsend and liked the fact the you could use the facilities of the Princes Park Hotel across the road plus location 10-15 min walk to Old Town and New Town .

Not me personally but the hills back to the apartment a small challenge for one in my party but sometimes a taxi cost 5-6 Euros

Nice enough place but will not return

It was absolutely dreadful. Instructions were not clear you could not pull up anywhere near Took us over an hour to get keys

We were charged a deposit of 150 € . The fridge has some beers wine etc which we thought was a nice gesture. I received a message saying we had been charged 34€ for 2 tónica , 1 wine and 2 cokes . They said there was a notice saying this but 6 women failed to see it !!! 34 euros for this I. Spain is extortion .

Nice spacious apartment, about a 10 minute walk to the old town and the beach.

It's a little dated, but perfectly acceptable for our short stay. It could do with some more heaters, only one oil filled radiator, supplied and it was cold at night; early March when we visited. However we only used it as a base so it wasn't a big issue. Lots of blankets supplied.

The owners communication we as excellent, we were able to collect the keys seamlessly. The apartment is bright airy and clean with everything you need. The fridge is even full of drinks you can purchase. Beds were comfortable. Haridryer is proper one! The pool next door was brilliant, the pics don't look great however we felt it much nicer than it looked online, good drinks at their bar too. For the price this is a great apartment.

To improve and make this place even better we think it could do with a full body length mirror :-) Also something out of control of owner is when it's windy the windows shake and keep you awake ! Was quite scary. Not sure anything can be done about that.

These apartments are great. Clean, lift access, lots of room, comfortable. Would heartily recommend. Also, Cruz, the staff member I was in contact with, was very responsive and helped when a passport had been left in the property. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.
