The kitchen was well equipped, although there was only very limited preparation space. The bed upstairs was extremely comfortable and, even though it was on a raised platform, there was enough space for me - and someone a little taller than me - to stand up (I am 1.60 m). The wifi was excellent and the host was really communicative and helpful ahead of my arrival.

The bathroom is actually in a separate building. This is not clear in the description of the property though, there is a vague mention of it in the owner's bio and in a couple of reviews, which I only spotted later (see photo). The owner seemed very unhappy about the fact that I chose to fold up the sofa bed - when I arrived, it had been folded down into a double bed, even though I had booked for only one person and the photos of the property show it as having a sofa. He told me this was intentional! However, what was most unsettling event was when a piece of roof tile fell and shattered on the table and floor. Fortunately, I was outside on the terrace at the time, so wasn't hurt. I offered to send the owner photos, but he wasn't interested in seeing any and made me feel like I was making an unnecessary fuss. However, the cleaning lady, whom he sent round to investigate the next day, dislodged several more tile fragments. In addition, when he arranged for her to come round, he said that it was not a serviced property, even though I was staying for 5 nights!
