Halkis Muses

La posizione sul mare. La stanza carinissima e vicina al porto. Smeralda e Jimmy di una gentilezza e disponibilità uniche. Sono venuti a prenderci al porto.

Full of character and very well set out. The outdoor area is very well appointed . We liked the proximity to the water… literally on your doorstep!

We couldn’t work the very funky shower upstairs but that was probably out lack of skills!

The property was clean, modern and had everything we needed. It was cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable. It was a very short walk to Halki's beautiful water, the shops, supermarkets and to the great restaurants there (especially The Black Sea). The views from the balcony were wonderful.

There are manhole covers in the path outside the room. When people walked on them they banged loudly. The noise woke us again and again as people came home late at night. There were often other bangs in the building or adjoining buildings and noisy neighbors stayed up late a couple of times. Then, after not having much sleep, the sun rose at 6am and shone straight in through the glass window in the east-facing door that leads to the balcony. There's a lovely modern blind on the door but it did nothing to stop the light. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well which is a pity because otherwise it's a great place. Bring earplugs and eye masks.
