Remote paradise in the middle of jungle
Amazing view into the jungle and rice field. Beautiful and very clean accommodation. Delicious breakfast. The owner was really nice to drive me to some sightseeing places. Possibility to have a massage which was an interesting experience.
There was no blanket, sheet only. No shampoo or conditioner. Too much animal noise around - roosters and gekos mainly. It is really hidden in the middle of nowhere. Pretty far from everything. I was the only guest in that place so felt a bit scared there. There are no grab taxis so if you want to go somewhere you have to pay a lot to the owner. 290 irp for dropping me in Amed was a lot but I appreciate he did. The massage takes place in the room by an old man. He asked me to put my bra off. Which seemed to be too much. In front of 90 years old man I did not mind but someone could.

Peaceful in the country
The Alamku Bungalow is a great place to stay. It's beautiful and quiet and out in the country. Very comfortable bed. It has views over rice terraces and also up to the mountain. You can walk from the bungalow two ways into Tirta Gangga, either down a set of steps that come out behind the temple or a better way is to go down to the stream and then follow the track into Tirta Gangga. The owners will point you in the direction. The owners rented me a motorcycle for 100,000 rupiah a day and I rode around the countryside. The breakfast was great and the owners were very, very helpful. When I couldn't get a Grab initially when I was finally leaving, they rode me down on the bike to the village where I was able to get one from there. It's about six or seven minutes by motorbike into the village or about a 10-minute walk down the track. There is an Indomart about five minutes ride away. Very highly recommended as a quiet, peaceful place to stay.

Great place to stay!
The bungalow was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable! The view from the bundalow was perfect to see sunrise ☺️

one of the best relaxed places if you are looking to get away from the crowds.
If you are in the top room, you can keep the windows open and get a great view every morning of the sunrise over the mountain and rice fields. The owner was great and super helpful with giving information around the area.
Not directly an issue with the property, but grab can be a little hit or miss in the area.

An amazing stay 😍
It was very calm and a beautiful scenery😍 the sunrise is amazing from there!:) And you can go for a really cool run down to the rice field and up through the jungle with the holy water spring😍
The windows were very beautiful but for this reason the room was warmer. We had 2 ventilators what was really good tho:)

Friendly helpful staff, Made even popped out to the pharmacy to save us a trip. Stunning views, short walk to the Water Palace. Swimming in the spring water pool at the palace sublime. Food next door authentic and delicious. Also good to visit Amlapura Palace and market.
