Quiet and Comfortable

The host was very accommodating and generous by giving us an alternate room (an upgrade!), at no extra cost, when the one we booked wasn't suitable. The room was spacious with seperate sitting area, kitchen and washing machine. Quiet and comfortable. Nice view of Kotor Bay!

Walking distance to the old town was almost 2 km, and there are few resturants in the immediate area of the rooms. The one resturant we did find close by was excellent!

Amazing place to stay in Kotor

We had an amazing time in this apartment. First of all, it’s close to old town (about 15-20 mins of walk). The room was very spacious and clean! We didn’t spend too much time in the apartment but kitchen had everything and we made twice a lunch there. Our terrace was on the other side of the building so we didn’t have the sea view but at the same time we enjoyed the peacefulness when having lunch there. Sanja was a very helpful host and answered all questions we had! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you don’t mind walking (the closest bakery is 10mins walk away, but it’s worth the walk). There is a restaurant right next to it but it was closed during our stay. We didn’t find any supermarket close by, but wasn’t a problem, we would do groceries on the way back from the Old Town.

Great views from the terrace neighbors an issue and bathroom dated

Great views from the terrace and good cooking equipment, easy access to the apartment.

Upstairs neighbors obscenely loud meaning we didn't have much peace. Couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom and the shower leaked onto the floor.

Amazing Experience

Everything was great. It was easy to collect the keys at check in. The host was quite flexible at payment. The room was clean. The view was great. The location was amazing. Just in front of house, there is sea view and you can also swim on the pier. It is just 20 minutes to Kotor City Centre by walk. The guidance of host was also helpful and she was extremely friendly. My experience was amazing. I recommend this place to everyone.

The wifi was good, but it would be better. They can use amplifier.

Based on the pictures, I booked an apartment with a view, but we got an apartment with a side entrance and no view, on the ground floor and it smelled very bad.

Beautiful apartment and fantastic owner!

The apartment was beautiful and we were so close to the water, with an amazing pontoon. It was extremely clean, tidy, and had everything we could need. Sanja was so so kind to us and took such good care, we would return back in a heartbeat. It was such a lovely and enjoyable stay!

Nothing! It may have helped to have a washing machine but we made it without and it did not affect our trip in any way :)

A cosy apartment with the most amazing view!

The view was incredible and true to the photos! We also had two ‘pet’ cats throughout our stay which we loved. When we arrived at Apartments Barbara we asked the host for some extra amenities; she promptly delivered everything we asked for which was a lovely start to the stay!

The location of the apartment is around a 50 minute walk to the centre of Kotor. There are also no grocery stores or restaurants located around the apartment which can be quite challenging when you don’t have a means of transport (car/taxi).

Everything was perfect, you feel you are in the paradise, the owner is amazing, we easily parked our car, nice balcony and garden for kids.

Not close to the old city, more for relaxation, not big apartment, a bit small but ok for two people.

Great accommodation

The accommodation is very good, the room is spacious even for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). We were able to cook at home and it was easy to find public parking (we came in April/May). The location is close to several tourist attractions and it was easy to access by car. We had a problem with the bathroom that was promptly resolved. Sanja is very friendly and kind, ready to assist you and help you.

In the photos there is a playground that doesn't match reality. For us, with a 2-year-old child, this was very important and was a decisive factor in choosing the accommodation. The playground only has an old, broken swing, it's not safe. Nothing else. For many people this doesn't mean anything, but for families with children it's good to know.

Would recommend for small groups!

Place was great, and the host was lovely. We were a group of 2, one stayed in bedroom, one on sofa bed. Both beds were very comfortable and double bed size. To manage expectations, the garden view apt has sea view on outside patio (which is explained in the property description). Mind the drain in the bathroom, it is a bit low. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures, but the room is the same as in the pictures online. Lots of cats and dogs in Kotor.

I never recommend it

The only good thing is that the staff is friendly and approachable. They communicate with you properly and help you.

Everything is very old. The rooms smell of damp. The dirt on the bed sheets and pillows is almost visible. We made the reservation for just one night just in case, we didn't even want to take a shower because of the dirt in the bathroom.

Amazing location, nice apartment and very helpful host!

This is our second year at the same apartment. Location is great, peaceful and on walkable distance from the city center (old town). Apartment is nice, everything needed is there. There is beach (ponta) across the street which is also amazing, since we spent most of our days there. Water is clean and we had sun beds. Sanja is the best host we ever met, friendly and very very helpful! We will be back again.

Fine stay

The view from the studio was really nice. The kitchenette was fine, little stove to cook on, fridge and sink. There were mosquito nets in front of the windows. It was nice to have also sunloungers on the terrace.

Studio was quite small, bed not so comfy. Bathroom could have been cleaner (shower rim looked like it wasnt cleaned in a long time). Shower door didnt close properly when inside shower, so floor was all wet. The drain smelled a bit.

Great view. Really enjoyed the terrace.Appartment had everything which was needed. It was clean with good Air Con. Good value for money.

Drive to the appartment was a bit tricky with bad road. Appartment is located further away from the parking with quite a few stairs . Had to carry luggage all the way up and down. Appartment itself is small. Although equipped with everything a Coffee machine could have been nice. Bathroom shower door needs some repairs as water would seep out while showering, flooding entire bathroom. But since we stayed only for a night it was manageable.

Very good

The view from our balcony was just amazing. Room was large enough for us and the bed was comfortable. There are 3 rooms at the ground floor but we are secluded from the others. Weather was very hot, but, roo m is in shade after noon so it is very cool so that we did not use air conditioner.

It is a bit hard to have breakfast at balcony between 8 and 10:30 am because of sunshine coming directly between these hours. Walking to old town takes 30 minutes, and there is a bus passing by the street in front of the apartment around 45th minute of each hour and the bus is sometimes very crowded. It is hard to walk to old town on hot summer days. It is hard to find a taxi in Kotor, because they don't want to go to close destinations and request more money.

The view is amazing, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed. We requested a heater and floor rug, which were promptly provided. The cookware is in good condition

This apartment is not suitable for four people because the sofa bed is broken, and sleeping on it is uncomfortable. The hot water in the bathroom is only sufficient for one person, and you have to be very quick because the boiler can reach a very low level of water. Only one of the four people could take a shower with hot water. Additionally, credit cards are not accepted, which may not be very convenient for people who are not used to carrying cash

Excellent value with a fantastic hostess!

The hostess made us feel incredibly welcome and was available at all times to help us with whatever we needed! It felt like a homestay! The apartment has everything you'd need for a cozy stay. The kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped.

Our only complaint is that the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor! There is a drain there to collect the water though.
