We really liked staying in Muo. A very peaceful alternative to Kotor while still being within walking distance. Lovely spots to sunbathe and enjoy the water. The apartment was well equipped and had a washing machine with detergent supplied. The staff were really friendly. For the cheapest option in this area, it was completely fine.

As other reviewers have said, it could have been a lot cleaner. There were several bad smells in the apartment. My main criticism has to be the bed. I could literally feel every single spring and I had to sleep on a spare duvet in order to not get stabbed.

The apartment we received was the same one we saw online, which we were pleased about. It was comfortable enough for one night. Large beds, good AC, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen, although we didn’t use it. Balcony was convenient too if you smoke. The owner/host was helpful and welcoming, even though she did not speak English - she also tried to assist us with booking a taxi in the morning. We were a little confused on where to collect our keys. You go upstairs and enter the apartment beside the ‘Apartmani Cuce’ sign and knock/say hello (it looks like a family home, we initially didn’t enter was we thought it was a private residence).

The property was hard to reach - we had to taxi there, then a 30+ minute walk to the bus station the next morning as there were no taxis. Staying more centrally if you do not have a car is probably preferable. Close to the beach however. The property was also not clean. We had clean bedding, but the bathroom had urine stains, hairs, and dirt on the shelf. There were cigarette burns on the cushion, and the floor felt unclean. We were only staying one night so did not raise this. If you need a cheap place to stay for one evening, I’d recommend. If you are looking for a multi-night stay to explore Kotor, I would look for somewhere else. For the cheapest accommodation we could find, it was adequate.
