Great room and smooth check in process.

The owner is very responsive and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We'll definitely come back again. Location was great and very safe, even late at night. 15 minutes walk and we were in Vatican.

Shower water pressure was low so it was a bit uncomfortable, everything else was 10/10.

The location, the room with the balcony was pretty.

When you first arrive in a room, you expect at least a complimentary bottle of water (especially in a hot period/ 38 degrees in Rome…). We stayed in the Alexander room. The shower water had various temperature issues. The bed was short, and someone over 1.80m tall would definitely have a problem. The most significant drawbacks are basically two: first, the room is never cleaned again during your stay, regardless of how many days you're there (meaning towels are never changed, trash isn't emptied, etc.), and they only provide shampoo and shower gel for one day; for the rest of your stay, you have to buy your own. This is the first time this has happened to us, and we've traveled extensively in Europe (this was our 3rd time in Rome). If you're staying for one night, then it's OK (just make sure you have water with you). Otherwise, I don't recommend it.
