Location was great and the breakfast was nice. The lovely lady who does breakfast was delightful and super friendly. The bed was massive and the room spacious.
I wouldn’t say this is boutique at all, on closer inspection the room looks different to the pictures. It was all in the details, there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, the bed even though it was massive, was really hard and no teaspoons for the provided tea, I had to make the bed myself and put the sheet on. I chose this hotel as it was slight set back and not over a bar, however they hosted a private event and my room was literally bouncing. Not ideal when I had an early start. Also, when asked for a packed breakfast I did specify that I was vegetarian a few times, though it arrived with meat. As there is no reception and is managed by whoever is in the restaurant, I went to enquire and the waiter told me,’ it’s not a big deal just take the meat out’. I told them that they would have to make it again. It was just really rude and a lack of customer service. For the price, you’re better off elsewhere.
