Atelier Boutique Hotel

We only had one night here, but it was like a wonderful little oasis in Shkoder. the hotel is a part of a restaurant in a gorgeous little courtyard, which also had lovely food. The room was spacious and comfortable. the hotel its self is also in a great location. we left very early the next morning, and they very kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us.

The step to the bathroom was too high. Difficult for older people to climb.

We loved everything about this place! Our room was incredible value and such a beautiful suite. We loved the double tub and how much space our room had. It’s the perfect location - easily walkable to the busy main strip but tucked away so that it’s not noisy at night. The restaurant is a dream. The outside courtyard is so gorgeous and the food was excellent. The manager of the hotel is wonderful - very communicative and sweet. We had to leave before breakfast was available, and they ensured that we had a packed breakfast to take with us. Would return here in a heartbeat and are sad that we only stayed one night!

Location was great and the breakfast was nice. The lovely lady who does breakfast was delightful and super friendly. The bed was massive and the room spacious.

I wouldn’t say this is boutique at all, on closer inspection the room looks different to the pictures. It was all in the details, there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, the bed even though it was massive, was really hard and no teaspoons for the provided tea, I had to make the bed myself and put the sheet on. I chose this hotel as it was slight set back and not over a bar, however they hosted a private event and my room was literally bouncing. Not ideal when I had an early start. Also, when asked for a packed breakfast I did specify that I was vegetarian a few times, though it arrived with meat. As there is no reception and is managed by whoever is in the restaurant, I went to enquire and the waiter told me,’ it’s not a big deal just take the meat out’. I told them that they would have to make it again. It was just really rude and a lack of customer service. For the price, you’re better off elsewhere.
