Fun, it was very windy, take more warm clothes than you think you will need 😁

comfy beds, nice facilities, great camp fire. Fun time the children loved it.

Unfortunately no water the first night due to a burst pipe outside of the owners property I believe. We were given plenty of bottled water but couldn't shower etc.

So close to Oxford... But away from everything at the same time.

The site is in an idyllic spot with loads of room and lovely comfy seating outside every tent. Lovely boiling hot showers and lit up walkways with pebbles so you don't have to get wet feet walking through grass to the toilet.

Great location, clean facilities, kitchen area was great with ovens, microwaves knives etc! Tent had kettle, plates, cups etc - bathroom facilities were really clean. Beautiful location and gorgeous surroundings! So pleased we booked here and i've recommended this place to all friends and family!

It was a great site, not so busy and great facilities... The kids loved being outdoors and we will certainly be coming back to enjoy this lovely Glamping site..

Absolutely amazing in a good way!

We were absolutely amazed! What a beautiful set up!! We were very lucky with the weather too, had a comfortable bbq, with everything for the bbq provided for. Very conveniently located just outside Oxford.

The extra bed was a bit challenging to put together.

Tents were well spaced so were pretty quiet. They were well set up with fairy lights etc and most things you could need for your stay including hot water bottles, blankets and ear plugs. The main beds were surprisingly comfortable (although we doubled up the mattress on the additional camp bed with the spare one as it was very thin). There are pubs cafes and restaurants close by (but I strongly recommend booking ahead of time). The site backs onto a field and river so is very picturesque. We would definitely stay again.

There are signs as soon as you walk in to your tent reminding you of check out time. I felt it was unnecessary and made you feel a little unwelcome. I would have liked wood to be provided for each night of your stay as you only get one lot regardless of how long you are staying. The kettle was on the kitchen shelf area but there was nowhere to plug it in so it meant using it on the floor which is not ideal with young children. If we returned I would bring an extension cable as plug points are limited in general being a tent. There is only one oven which isn’t really enough for all the tents. If someone else is cooking you may be in for a long wait. We ended up doing a barbecue which was fun despite the terrible weather!

Fresh air, freedom , family and all in nature under the stars sleeping in a double bed with fairylig

This is our 2nd year of staying at the glamping site. Met by Teddy the resident cat, he is a character Even got to stay in the same tent (thank you) on request. Old children enjoyed the fire pit and cooked on it for every meal and smores for dessert. Enjoyed fishing in the near by River (you need to bring your fishing gear and own bait ). Lots of walks to enjoy along the river, and short walk to bus stop if you wanted to sight see/shop round Oxford. Farmoor close if you like water sports (think you have to book inadvance). Over the bridge is the talbout inn , freindly staff and amazing food.Another relaxing weekend we're coming back again !!! Thank you from No6.

This is the second time booking this campsite as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Great location for us close to family, but also for local attractions. Clean, beautiful set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Favourite glamping site, top facilities and near the river for open water swimming

Always love staying at this site, the facilities, tents, location and beauty combine to make it our favourite glamping site. Also close to a beautiful stretch of the Thames river, perfect for open swimming and paddle-boarding.

The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been to be nearer our family who were also staying, but not the end of the world.

Absolutely everything! My family and I have been coming here every year.. this year we experienced our 6th tent and loved every second of it. My 2 year old daughter had the best time! Somewhere so safe for her! The most beautiful staff members on the most amazing beautifully kept grounds. We call it the hidden gem aka my happy place! Absolutely stunning! I cannot wait to finish the last 4 tents and to start all over again. Truly forever grateful for having us back each year xx

You could tell that it is a well-maintained property. The tents were elegant, and so were the kitchen and bathrooms. Ample parking space and essentials are provided in the tent. It felt like a very "posh" experience, and we all loved it. The good hike trail is a welcome bonus, and the restaurant we had lunch at (The Trout Inn) had great food, drinks and ambience. I will definitely be going back again in the near future. The property managers were delightful and helpful throughout our stay. God bless them!

There wasn't anything not to like but I did wish there was some empty space for a ball kick. Kids love those.

Beautifully clean. Lots of small details, fairy lights in the tents. They were nicely spread out. Plenty of fire wood and charcoal for one of each. Well designed small kitchen and washing up area. Lovely clean, hot showers.

The communal washing up area would benefit from a table or wide shelf to assemble dirty & washed crockery. Maybe over the large bins, change them for swing bins?

A nice Glamping site for a short country break

The location by the river. The set up of the campsite. Tents was spacious & bed comfortable. Toilet & Cooking facilities were nice - though could be improved.The toilets & showers were good.

Unfortunately the tent design is such that one of the holding ropes is right in from of the entrance and people can easily walk into it coming out of the tent. Not all allocated Fridges had Freezer compartments & their temperature control was difficult. The cooking equipment is tricky to manage and food can easily get burnt.

Not what we expected for £100 per night stay. We have never slept in a musty smelling bed before.

Easy to drive to and close to the River Thames.

The double bed in our tent smelt musty. Although the sheets and pillow cases were clean, the smell came from elsewhere - probably from the mattress or bedspread. Such was the unpleasant smell, we left after two nights of our 3 night stay. Although I asked for a partial refund, my request went unanswered. Additionally, there were notices posted everywhere, even attached to the centre tent pole telling you when you had to leave before you had even put your bags down on arrival.
