Guesthouse Medea on Pushkini 4

Very friendly hosts overall, especially the man and his daughters (that’s why an extra point). The breakfast was excellent and the place was generally clean. The location offers a very authentic experience of staying with a local Georgian family, which I appreciated. There are also small shops nearby, and the atmosphere felt quite genuine.

At times, I felt a bit restricted, especially regarding fixed expectations like breakfast time or being asked when I would return from outside. This made the stay slightly uncomfortable. The room itself was quite basic (no trash bin, no bedside lamp, inconvenient power outlets), and the mattress was not very comfortable. Wi-Fi was slow. The biggest issue was noise: the street was surprisingly busy, with cars and loud engines or music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep without earplugs. Also, the shared bathroom might not suit everyone (although it worked reasonably well).

Basically, it is a family house. Hosts were amazing! We were picked up at the airport and transferred to the location. Breakfast was excellent, prepared in their kitchen, tasty, in a family atmosphere. They were always ready to help and to do whatever needed to make our stay pleasant. We even got a gift from them when leaving. Amazing experience indeed!

We had a perfect stay here, the location was unbeatable! Everything is within a few minutes of walk away, like the main sights and also multiple cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. The room was super spacious and comfortable, just as the bed as well. The hosts were super kind and welcoming, although there was a bit of language barrier, it did not affect our experience. We've received an amazing breakfast every morning with traditional flavours, spending time with a family made this trip very memorable (especially the dog :) ) We even had a tour together with the host, that was such an amazing experience, if we'll visit Georgia again, we'll know where to stay ;)

Wifi could've been a bit better, but to be honest, that was the only thing that could be improved :)

that i have to buzz the landlord to open the front door. i would prefer to have my own key.
