Convenient, well equipped with charming details.

I loved its position and the building is very interesting indeed. There was also a lift which was helpful with for the luggage and the flat had a sweet balcony. There were many interesting books to peruse.

The bathroom was quite out dated and you had to go over a high sill which would be difficult for some people.

I'm definitely coming back

Location is perfect and gorgeous! Apartment is super spacious and has everything you might need. Squeeky clean and towels smelled nicely. Felt like visiting a good friend. The view from the windows - exceptional and also has blackout curtains. Its a pity we stayed just several hours. I absolutely recommend it!

I personally have trouble with polyester bedsheets, but my partner was fine. If you sleep lightly, you might need earplugs, because the maintenance of the pliazza starts earlier than 5AM (again - my partner slept like beheaded). Checkout is 9:30 - I generally prefer 10am, but in our case we left 7:30, so I couldn't care less

It was a little difficult to find whilst driving but I got there with a little help from the local tourist office.

Real gem of Bellinzona

The apartment is in a nice palazzo on a beautiful piazza just opposite to the church. 7 minutes walking distance from the train station. 5 minutes walk uphill to Castelgrande. Nice bar,restaurants,grocery stores nearby. The apartment is very well equipped, clean. Matteo - the host - was very helpful and approachable, he gave us recommendations of restaurants,bars,shopping and other useful info. One of my best stays ever!!! *****+

Spacious central apartment

Excellent, central location - on the main town square and only 10 minute walk from the train station. Still, very quiet. Nice view of a beautiful church and the lively square. Historical, beautiful building. Very spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. Neat and well maintained. Responsive host. Good value for money.

The only area of improvement would be the checkout time, which is 09:30 am. I have stayed at 200+ hotels and Airbnbs all over the world, and this is the earliest checkout time I have ever encountered. I would recommend making checkout at 10:30 or 11:00, and check-in at 14:00 or 15:00, which is more standard.

Best stay in a long time, would love to come back

Everything was perfect: location is splendid in the central plaza of Bellinzona. We travelled with small kids, and they enjoyed all the toy and books that were available in the apartment. The apartment was very clean, and cosy. Having a washing machine after a week of travelling was also a plus

The apartment was centrally located in a historic building with the best views. The host was so knowledgeable and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was incredibly efficient. Great stay and we hope to be back!

Amazing location right at the main square, every activity is super close by. space for 6 ppl. Super friendly host. storing our luggage after check out was possible. thanks a lot Matteo

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location.

The wifi in the apartment was a huge problem for us. It dropped from room to room and wasn't strong anywhere. I had a hard time working (I work remotely) at this property, and unfortunately the wifi issues would prevent me from staying here again.

Exceptional

It's been a great trip to Ticino. The property is in the very center of Bellinzona, right next to two castles, close to the railway station. It is very spacious and has everything one may need, including a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and shelves full of books. The host Matteo is very kind and forthcoming.

Superb

Great central location in the middle of the old town pedestrian zone and near both COOP and Migros grocery stores. It's an easy ten-minute walk from the train station. Spacious apartment with all the necessities (including a Nespresso machine). There are lots of interesting books for both adults and children, and some games. The host replies to questions very quickly. All together, very nicely set up.

Only one thing: there is some noise transmission from either somewhere in the building or in an adjoining building. This was disconcerting because whoever it was enjoying their music kept very late hours (rock until 1:30 AM; then TV starting at 4:30 AM). This affected the kitchen and bedroom areas. Fortunately the sound did not come into the living room, where there were fold-out beds. I ended up closing off the bedroom entirely and never went in it after the first night. Someone who sleeps heavily would likely not be bothered by this; but as a musician, I have very keen hearing, and even earplugs didn't help. Light sleepers should favor the living room. Other than this, I have nothing negative to say about the place, and would probably stay there again!
