Perfect

Everything was nice, the house is made to feel like home, which is exactly how we felt. The studio apartment we stayed in was bright, clean, had a wonderful view and a cozy feeling overall. We had a 2yr old with us and he also loved it, not to mention that the apartment was safe enough for a child, so we managed to relax for a few seconds here and there.

Lovely place with a stunning view

Lovely place with everything you need! The instructions from the owner were very clear and we were pleasantly surprised when we received free tickets for the public transport in the area. The view was stunning, the beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. We’d love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone coming to this region!

Keep in mind that it might be hard to get there without a car. However, there is a bus stop at a 20-minute walk distance and also uber cars available.

The location is spectacular and the room was very clean. It is easy to communicate with the host.

Amazing, unique property. Well thought out in terms of comfortable amenities.

The setting, décor, furniture and spaciousness was amazing. The set up is very charming and welcoming. We appreciated how clean and comfortable the suite and surrounding areas were. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to all questions. The air conditioning was very good - the large windows and doorways provided spectacular views. Highly recommend for families and couples traveling together.

If you are arriving late at night and not familiar with the roads, I think a warning about the drive would be helpful as the property is up the mountains and the roads are narrow and winding - this was not the case for us. We have a fantastic view all the way to the property.

This lovely apartment offers a truly unforgettable experience. It is spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the jacuzzi on the terrace, overlooking the breathtaking view of the Alps – it felt like a dream come true. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t hesitate. Just go for it – you won’t regret it for a second!

The only minor detail was that the pillows were a bit too firm for my personal taste, but that’s just a matter of preference and didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment.

total tranquility

A perfect getaway with breathtaking views! The property is spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need—high-quality furnishings, beds, and linens, all in pristine condition. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer total tranquility, with no neighbors in sight. We loved spending time with the adorable mini sheep, clearly cherished by the owner. The small on-site store with local wine and honey was a lovely touch. The hot tub on the terrace was absolutely stunning—a perfect place to relax while enjoying the scenery. Don’t worry about the road—yes, it’s narrow, but never busy, with plenty of passing spots. Locals handle it with ease. In our week-long stay, we only met someone on the road once, and we easily passed using a safety spot. Plus, there are plenty of stores and restaurants down in the town, so everything you need is within reach. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

Views views views ! And mountain goats 🤣

My only issue was the goat track to get there ! And that we could not use the local payment service. The road is very narrow and (noting I have a fear of heights and should have thought of this when I saw the fabulous views!!!!) I had to walk it as was vomiting in the car! Also is very aligned to locals and not os holidayers … but small critiques (and mainly me based) … the room was amazing and the shower is a work of art! We had one small maintenance issue and they were out to fix in a jiffy.

Amazing place!

This was probably the BEST place we have ever stayed on our travels. The location is magical, with views of mountains above and Bellinzona down below. There is a huge fenced yard that our dogs loved running around and tanning. The studio ("Loft") and really large and modern. Internet was super. The hosts we very attentive and caring, even provided beds and bowls for our dogs, which was so appreciated. We were supplied with fire wood to have a fire in the wood stove every night. We spent two weeks at Scarpape and traveled to various places, such as Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Monte Generoso, Monte Lema, and many others. It's possible to go on hikes right from the front door. It's all very accessible. We will definitely be back!

We could not have asked for a better experience, excellent communication from the start. The views are spectacular, the apartment is high quality and beautiful. I didn't want to leave the kitchen! Everything was superb and the produce for sale was reasonably priced. Overall it was excellent and we'd love to come back.

We would change nothing about the experience, as people have mentioned, the drive is a little tight but people are conscious of this. We did it twice a day for ten days and there were no issues.

It really was perfect. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and luxury equipped. The view from the terrace was amazing. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace very much.

- big well-furnished, nicely decorated and clean appartment - large well-equiped bathroom - very available and helpful owners (we asked for an oven dish for cooking, and one was delivered within 10min) - many facilities for kids: games, baby foot, slide, large grass field - amazing view

Hard to find faults, perhaps these minor things: - the insect screens that can be lowered in front of the windows also stop all air flow, so it's hard to get rid of the heat during a heatwave - too soft mattresses, and no two-person mattress in either bedroom

The view from the location across the valley was wonderful. The apartment was organized in an old restaurant and the kitchen had professional equipment. We also enjoyed the locally produced products (especially the honey) on sale at the location. The host was really nice and installed a baby bed for us inside the room when we arrived.

Access to the location was a bit tricky and there aren't any nearby restaurants to go to quickly so you need to do some grocery shopping/order food in advance.

Perfect apartment and a wonderful part of Switzerland

The apartment was excellent, extremely well-equipped, beds comfortable, lovely balcony with hot tub (actually cool tub, 30 degrees but absolutely perfect for the hot weather). Really appreciated the discount Ticino tickets.

Not a criticism and appreciate cannot be changed, but apartment is up an extremely narrow road (single lane, blind corners) which you have to drive twice a day to get anywhere. Fortunately road is not busy but trying to pass other vehicles is extremely challenging and did add a layer of stress to an otherwise perfect holiday and apartment

The kitchen was brilliantly equipped and the rooms were super spacious. The interior furnishings were stylish and with really interesting antiques. We loved the jacuzzi, table football and outdoor eating area, with view over the valley. It was a great location for Bellinzona (a half-hour drive to the lake) and on a very nice footpath. We really appreciated that the garden was fully enclosed, as we could finally relax with our lively puppy, and loved the complementary dog biscuits on arrival. Lovely touch : )

The view from the flat was amazing - especially from the outside jacuzzi! The flats are nicely furnished and decorated and everything needed was available. The hosts are very detail oriented and even offer beverages and self-made products to purchase.

Fantastic property and staff, amazing views!

The view from the terrace and from the rooms is amazing, the staff is friendly and very responsive, the rooms are very well done and have everything you need. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the shower is fantastic. They even sell their own wine and honey, which are both delicious by the way! We stayed a week and really enjoyed our stay. The town of Bellinzona is beautiful with plenty of shops, grocery stores and restaurants very close by, not to mention the castles. We were here in the winter but plan to come back again in the summer as it must be absolutely gorgeous!

If people are in the rooms next to you and are noisy you will hear them unfortunately. When there is no one it is silent and wonderful!

Modern spacious apartment with magnificent views

Although slightly remote, the location afforded great views. The apartment was spacious and had its own garden. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking/dining in. The host provided us with all the information beforehand including the ticino ticket. We had informed that we had a small dog and not only were we not charged anything extra but there were feeding bowls and dog biscuits for our puppy!

The final stretch of the road to the apartment location is a bit narrow - only one vehicle can be accommodated on the road for long stretches. Although I must mention that we didn't face any oncoming traffic during our drive so it seems like the road does not have too much traffic
