Nice location but the bed in this apartment is a catastrophe

The apartment was clean and the location in the inner city is perfect.

I have never slept in a bed that is more uncomfortable like the one in this apartment. The mattress is like a shell crater. I would never let a guest sleep in such a bed.

Do Not Recommend.

The location was good, right in the centre of Bellinzona - handy for the supermarket and local shops. Directions to property were clear and keys were easy to access in lockbox

Everything could have been better. Parking was an absolute nightmare - street parking anywhere nearby was completely out of the question as we drove around the area multiple times looking for anywhere to park. Top tip - head straight to Autosilo Piazza del Sole for parking - it's expensive but it's pretty close to the accomodation. The facilities of the accomodation itself were not good at all. There was no instructions to operate the air conditioning and after several attempts we simply couldn't get it to operate, and our messages requesting guidance from the property manager (during suitable hours might I add) were left ignored. It was a hot uncomfortable night! The electrics in the property are absolutely wild. I would certainly not bring any children to the property as the whole place just seemed wildly unsafe. There were exposed electrics in the bath, exposed wiring in outlets (i.e. no outlet plate/cover on the outlet), unsecure outlets, multiple of the room lights didn't have bulbs meaning you had to rely on a lamp, etc. The washing machine didn't work. It commenced the cycle but then came up with an error code that it wasn;t getting enough water. I checked all the connected water pieps and ensured these were all switched on which they were but to no avail. We therefore ended up with wet but unclean clothes. The shower in the bathroom did not drain properly - this is clearly an issue here as previous people have noted this in reviews too. And after showering the bathroom smelt of sewage. I contacted the property owner afterwards and he ignored the safety concerns and told me the air con and the washing machine did work (not true). He offered me 15% refund in exchange for not leaving a poor review, which I agreed to. He then ghosted me and never responded to any more messages. In the end I had to get Booking.com involved. Would not recommend staying here. Like at all. Ever.

The apartment is perfect equiped and had everything we could possiblly need. Located in the heart of city center with a view on the main street. Cosy, even had sauna and whirpool which made our stay even better. Easy communication with the host and we found the apartment easy.

Below expectations

Positive: central location, very clean.

There were several negative aspects. - Firstly, I was astonished that 2 messages to property, with some specific questions I had, remained unanswered! It had never happened to me before in all these years with booking.com. The messages I received seemed to be automated (generic messages at time of booking and check-out and one message with check-in instructions). Luckily I did not need help during the stay! - Second: the kitchen lacked a kettle (to me a very basic item), no tea or coffee. There was a Nespresso machine with no capsules (a real joke: are people supposed to travel carrying their own Nespresso capsules?). I had never seen this before. - Third: the sleeping area had no reading lights, only a strong, big light above the bed, with the switch to turn it on/off not reachable from the bed. The mattress was on the soft side. - Fourth: no wifi. Even if I personally could do without it, I could not believe it. - Fifth: no written instructions anywhere (check-out time, useful info for guests etc), just some brochures from the tourist office. I had expected more. However, these are all aspects that can be easily improved for a substantial customer satisfaction increase.

Don't trust the reviews, not for families, gives a "swingers" feeling

It's a great location, bang in the city center. It's also a very large and spacious apartment (at least nr 1 is, on the first floor). It's very clean.

I see now it's not promised in the description, but there is no internet. Our fault, we should have checked it before, but any hotel or rental house without Wifi in 2025 cannot be taken seriously. Another thing that I could have seen myself, but still... only 1 room has air-conditioning. On a hot summer day it's getting warm and muggy in the apartment and it's tough to sleep. Our fault again, but such a large and "upscale" apartment should have AC, at least in the bed rooms. There is an indecent and even vulgar painting on the wall of a woman's face with ***** dripping over her lips and fingers, as well as a statue of some naked people next to the bath tub. Who decides on such art work? Conclusion, this is not a family apartment. Not that we needed it, but the extremely large jacuzzi didn't work (after filling it up 50% for half an hour). The bathroom is unhandily big and there are leather sofas that make you think what happens in that bathroom on weekend days. The shower is super fancy, and even includes a Hamam function, but I don't think I could make it work, whereas you need you phone lamp to be able to read the buttons. The coffee machine very brand new, but the cups provided didn't fit (2 different ones don't work).. The pans to make some hot water (for the Nescafe bags) was not accepted by the induction stove. Luckily the Manor on the other side has coffee from 08h00. All in all, I don't think it was a cool apartment as so many others seem to think. I find it cheap taste, incomplete, and not at all for families. Next time I prefer a simple clean hotel with Wifi then staying in such an apartment.

Nice apartment, great location!

Amazing Location, right in the City Center and very close to the train station, appx 10 min walk only. The apartment is very pleasing, lots of space and kitchen is complete. It also has a balcony which is definitely a plus - we recommend this place a lot. Thank you for hosting us.

Bathroom light was busted so they just put a lamp but not enough, definitely something they can fix easily. Bed is also quite uncomfortable and seems to be sinking towards the center - a better matress should be an easy fix.

Beautiful apartment in the centre.

This apartment was very modern and clean and in the centre so ideal for exploring the area. We got parked in the multi story carpark 4 min walk away so very convenient. The host messaged with entry details prior to stay which made for a stress free stay.

Loved the vicinity to the station and great base for excursions, great comfortable living space for family with teenagers …. and views of two castles … was magnificent !! loved the water and wine on arrival and all the basic essentials from shower gel shampoo, to washing powder washing up liquid … every detail considered …..

Exceptional

Fantastic apartment, comfortably accomodating a family of 5. Very well located close to Castel Grande and city center. Easy self check in. Wonderful night views from the apratment, a big Milgros supetmarket nearby. Fully equipped kitchen and a very nice host! We can only recommend.

spacious, excellent location, well equipped, nice beds and linens, modern showers, responsive owner. Migros is five steps away - can buy excellent products for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also sell tasty packaged meals, salads, fish. Was easy to visit Bellagio, Como - use the ferry one way, it makes perfect logistics. Also went to Ascona - easy and very nice half day trip and dinner

I had asked if the property had 2 bathrooms since we are a fam of 4 pax. The host might have mis understood. It was a massive size bathroom with separate sections including a whirlpool, but it was a single bath room!! Also, i was informed on the website that there is parking available on the premises. There is a paid parking lot available close by. I do believe these are misunderstandings and can be corrected for future reference. A feather in the hat for the host was when the internet broke down and we reached out to him, he made it a point to get it fixed immediately. Last point is we hit a heat wave and had no fans in the apartment. Its a small price to get 3 fans for the rooms and living area and would have made the stay a lot more comfortable. But all in all its a fab apartment with a great location.

Huge apartment, good sized 3 bedrooms with reasonable living and dining area for groups of 6 people. Bellizona is easily accessible to Lugano and not so crowded with Saturday market just right below the apartment.

As this is a penthouse unit with cone shaped rooftop, the apartment had minimal side windows other than some roof windows, and ceiling at some corners may be on the low side that you may bump into when you walk around.

We had an excellent stay in this apartment, very comfortable and exceptionaly equiped.

We liked very much the space available, the bathroom and the spa inside, and the quietness. In the kitchen we found all we need too. We enjoyed the situation of the apartment in the center of the city, very closed to all shops and good restaurants.
