We had a fantastic couple of nights – the room was lovely, facilities great and clean. The breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. The dog who lived there was also a treat. And the view was amazing!
The shower was a little tricky to use, in that there was no screen or curtain so everything gets wet, and tricky to get the temperature right.

Everything perfect. Cabin 9 perched on the edge of the river valley. The food was outstanding! The staff wonderful. You are looking at Tatev monestary from the bed. You are only a 5 minute drive from the fantastic cable car, and a beautiful overlook is just steps away
I cant think of anything wrong. Adjusting the shower temp was a bit fussy but we figured it out. Even though you are very close to the devil’s bridge below, don’t bother this is a waste of time IMHO

When I was looking for accommodation in the Tatev area, the main consideration (besides price) was location. Old Halidzor met our expectations to the fullest. I was afraid that the wooden houses would be cold at the end of October, but the heaters in the room provided a suitable temperature. The staff was very helpful and kind, and the breakfast and dinner were rich in local specialties.
The only problem was that it was difficult to adjust the temperature of the hot and cold water in the bathrooms, but after a lot of experimentation we managed to do it. :)

Tasty dishes in restaurant and beautiful view
WiFi in room didn't work, even when stuff tried to fix it. Expensive restaurant. You should wait several minutes before you will have a hot water in a shower. It's annoying.
