Fairytale turn into a nightmare

It a small hotel offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The view from the restaurant and from our room was magnificent. At first the staff were friendly offering additional support because we were with an infant.

Staying at this hotel holds a serious risk for your health. Prior our arrival we had no information that the water at the place is not suitable for drinking. My concern is that even washing your hands is a serious threat to the health and there are no guarantees the water they are using in the restaurant is different. The water from the tap has severe chemical smell and is brownish/ yellowish color. After 2 days stay, I ended up with such a severe gastro-intestinal infection that I almost had to be admitted in a hospital. We checked out early in the morning in order to see a medical, at that time the manager hid in the bar not even offering an apology.

Pleasant

The views are amazing! The room is quite nice. The food in the restaurant is good with good service. The internet is fast.

The bathroom was too small, smelled bad like sewer the whole time. On the first night there was no water - couldnt flush the toilet, brush our teeth or take a shower up to 9 am the next day. Despite the positive sides, because of these reasons, in our view, the hotel is overpriced.

Exceptional

Everything was great - the place, the staff, the atmosphere. In the end, one thing spoiled the overall impression and I do not recommend the hotel. When we checked out the hotel, my husband paid the bill for the two dinners (we were 4 people) over 600 leva! They said they had doubled the bill by mistake, apologized and promised to return our money. But they didn't. PS. I wrote this review late at night and the next morning the hotel responded immediately. It happens to everyone to make mistakes. But the mistake must be corrected on the initiative of the one who made it. Otherwise it leaves a stain on the good name of the hotel.
