Great spot for peace and quiet near Gabrovo

On the main street, but with very solid construction and completely quiet. The outdoor terrace was great for visiting and relaxing. The atmosphere with the river running behind the guesthouse was really pretty amazing. Pictures reflect reality, and the facilities were all very clean. common kitchen and dining area were available.

Our Gabrovo home from now on

It was perfect! Located basically against an undisturbed piece of forest along with a river. From the patio you can't see any other buildings on the other side. Amazing for nature lovers and anyone else actually. Parking spot is good. And there is a loving cat! :D

No complaints whatsoever. This is going to be our home when we come to Gabrovo for sure. Just keep in mind that the booking navigation shows it a bit more up the road, so you have to drive 2 minutes down to see it, the name pops on the side of the house right in front of your car at some point.

A hidden gem

A hidden gem in Bulgaria, from the tourist village of etara to the guest house. On first entering the property, we couldn't believe our eyes, the house was extremely new and clean, the room so spacious, and to be honest we found a level of comfort we hadn't experienced in a four-star property. And for an added surprise, the property had a veranda directly overlooking the river, a heavenly place to have breakfast and enjoy moments of tranquility and admiration of the beautiful nature around. Finally, the property was very close to the etera museum, a place not to be missed. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and we'd like to take this opportunity to salute them.

Beautiful location on the river, great deck right on the water, parking right next to the building.

Our room was super small, kids room was bigger. Beds/mattresses are not hotel level, combo shower/WC was miniature. It's a very nice place just don't expect more than from a two star hotel.

Guest house very close to The Etar Open-Air Museum and Gabrovo city centre. The kitchen was very good, everything was enough. Terrace was amazing. Rooms are very comfortable. Very relaxing and everything was nice.

Every thing was excellent. Communication with the owner by phone, she detailed explained everything, I was totally alone in the house but safe and very comfortable. I can recommend house Mikaela everyone who needs to stay at this far away location.

Had a pleasing stay here, though we only stayed a night. The room was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the river. There is a bus stop and supermarket within a 5 min walk and Etara was also relatively close.

It was generally ok.

It’s clean, the bathrooms are nice, bed are ok, it’s cozy, there was a balcony with coffee table.

Someone smoked in the common kitchen area snd the whole property smelled like cigarette smoke. The location is kind of remote, there is nothing to do in close proximity. You have yo drive or use public transportation to go to a restaurant, have coffee or just take a walk.

Perfect short stay place!

Super nice stay for 1 night. Clean place, nice kitchen with everything needed to prepare food. Very close to Etara, which was a plus.

No mosquito net on the window, this is the only minus.

Great place to stay with friends.

We self catered due to my food allergies so the kitchen was excellent for us. We spent our time in the outside area and the cosy dining room. Both were comfy and we were glad we had them. The rooms were so clean and the bed was really comfy.

We stood for one night, on our way to Greece. Pros: -quiet, the river right behind it -clean -comfortable bed -fully equipped kitchen
