Absolutely recommended!

It was a great pleasure to stay in La Chiocciola. Our kids called Brunella (the owner) the grandmom. She and her husband were very nice and welcoming. Even if we didn't speak the same language we felt ourself home. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were traveling in hot August and the conditioner in the room was a great help to survive the hot! Beautiful garden to relax, delicious breakfast with homemade pastries. Our kids were in love with the cats. We really loved the location: it's in a nice and quite small village, walking distance to restaurants, short drive to Terme di Saturnia, not far from fantastically beautiful Pitigliano, and not far from Etruscan Necropolises.

Just perfect

The property is located in a small town on top of a hill, with bars and restaurants, just a few minutes away from the thermal pools. Breathtaking views from the terrace and amazing breakfast. The business owners are super friendly.

The room was so clean,bedding was comfortable, and our hostess even turned in the heat so that our room was warm upon arrival! Very friendly hostess. Springs a ten minute drive away. A fun family pizzeria a short walk from the B n B.

The property was not wheelchair accessible as advertised, but we were forewarned by the owner and the different access was due to recent heavy rain.

Superb

The hosts are great. Wonderful Brunella grannie, she just gives so much love, serves delicious home made cakes, simply lip smacking. Always ready to support and give all kind of comfort you may require. Room was large, comfortable, clean and nice view of valley from window and just outside room. She even gave us a ride to and from the hotspring for free, although it was good 3-4km away.

Can't think of anything for property per se but one should arrange for commute to the hotsprings in advance because it is very far from main cities and costs a lot, even more than the stay if you take a taxi.

Brunella was a sweet warm lady just like grandma. She was very welcoming and offered us a drink. The place is very peaceful and clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommend this place.

If you want to feel Italy, to be in silent area...thats the place. The lady speaks Italian only , hover she welcomed as so polite even we arrived late she offered something to eat. Breakfast were nice - home made cake ,chees ect . Would go again.

Good location to visit the Saturia thermal baths, the spa and the nearby towns such as Pitigliano and Sovana. The staff is incredibly helpful, always willing to provide tips, discounts for other facilities and help in general. Breakfast is great and with a great choice of local biscuits/cakes.

From the warm welcome to our departure, our staying with Brunella and his husband was absolutely incredible. I can't recommend this place enough. It's quiet, it's clean, it's got 2 awesome hosts and the breakfast is to die for. We'll be back, and hopefully this time we'll be able to hug Signora Brunella

Amazing location, at the edge of a gorgeous little village in the country side. Super nice hosts - they don’t know any English but made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Breakfast included delicious homemade cakes, juice, coffee, bread, yogurt and ricotta.

The bed isn’t the best for people with a bit of back pain - it’s a soft springs bed...

Our stay at La Chiocciola was fabulous. Location, set up and hospitality were fantastic, and our room was clean and comfortable. Brunella is the Italian grandma we wish we had. She, her husband and family are are absolutely delightful. Brunella and Rosetta (her daughter) made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived, offering us a cup of tea and a platter of homemade biscuits before showing us to our room. Meanwhile, they were busy baking cakes for breakfast the next morning! The breakfast is certainly something to write home about. A true agriturismo. We wished we stayed for more than one night!

Das Frühstück war ein perfekt italienisches, sehr feines Frühstück mit verschiedenen frischen Kuchen. Die Zimmer hatten guten Hotelstandard, einen schönen eingezäunen Garten und waren sehr ruhig. Ausblick in die Hügel.

Unsere jungen Männer hatten etwas Schwierigkeiten, satt zu werden;-)

אהבנו הכל. הגברת המקסימה ובעלה קיבלו אותנו במאור-פנים, חביבות וחמימות. הציעו לנו מיד קפה ושתייה קרה. נתנו הרגשה מאוד טובה. אהבנו את המקום, אווירה כפרית משהו ואותנטית. הבית והגינה עם מיטות-השיזוף. הפרחים. למרות קשיי-השפה, תיקשרו היטב. ארוחת-הבוקר הטובה עם העוגות המושלמות מעשי-ידייה. מקלחת טובה, מים חמים. הכל היה נקי ומושלם. לא רחוק ממרכז סטורניה.
