I really enjoyed my time here. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Henri and Margot were very attentive - my girlfriend unexpectedly decided to join me for a weekend and they were quick to make the room up for two without any hassle. The location was brilliant, right in the centre of Middelburg and only a short walk from the station. Very peaceful. Would definitely recommend to others and come back again for another stay.

The hinges on the doors in the property might need some WD-40 - very squeaky and loud. Proved a minor problem if other guests woke up and showered early, as the noise woke me up a few times.

The location, the comfort and the room were really nice. The host was really nice and friendly. The bathroom was also really clean and we enjoyed the shower.

The property has a good location, however the sounds from the street were a bit noisy. The bell rings every hour, even in the night. Maybe we should have left the windows closed.

Prima, wel jammer dat je online niet kon opgeven voor ontbijt en er geen prijsvermelding was.

Zwischen den Kirchen gelegne tolle Unterkunft

Wir hatten, als Gruppe, für 3 Nächte die komplette Etage gemietet. Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, sodass wir das nicht bewerten können. Von Vorteil ist, dass WC und Badezimmer in getrennten Räumen untergebracht ist, so dass es morgens/abends nicht zum Stau kommt. Der Vermieter war, uns gegenüber, sehr freundlich und gab uns das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich genau zwischen zwei Kirchen, sodass man von Beiden, fast zeitgleich das Stundenläuten hört, dass stört aber eigentlich nicht wirklich und ist auch nicht lauter, als der normale Straßenverkehr...

Super guesthouse idéalement située !

Idéalement situé au centre-ville, propriétaire très sympathique et réactif, literie confortable, possibilité de laisser ses vélos en sécurité.

Il manque un petit frigo en chambre (et peut-être une petite goutte d’huile pour les portes qui grincent fort 😉). Et petit conseil (je précise que c’est évidemment totalement indépendant des propriétaires des lieux), ne garez pas votre voiture sous l’arbre devant l’établissement, notre voiture a été littéralement couverte de résine qui coule de l’arbre.

Relax!

Het was een kleine kamer maar met een hoog plafond. Gezellig ingericht. Van alle gemakken voorzien zoals tv, espressomachine en waterkoker. Gidsjes en boek en uitleg over de B&B. Toplocatie zo midden in het centrum maar toch rust te ervaren en veel groen. Goed ontvangst van de B&B eigenaar. Alles was goed onderhouden en heel schoon. Fijne douche en wasruimte die ook gedeeld moest worden. Daarvoor hing een badjas (iets te klein voor mij) en slippers. Aparte wc.

Ik miste een opbergplek voor m’n toilettas en kleine dingen die je nodig hebt. Op het bureau stond de waterkoker en espresso machine waarvan ik denk dat die wellicht op een plank kunnen.

Dit was tijdens het 27e Volkoren festival in Middelburg en de helft van de locaties lag rondom onze B en B. Alle comfort binnen handbereik!! Prachtige historische gebouwen en leuke winkeltjes en dito terrasjes.

Prettig logeren op een beeldschoon plekje in oud Middelburg

Heel prettige plek met eigen opgang. In het centrum van mooi Middelburg en op loopafstand van het station. Dat was voor mij het allerbelangrijkst. Een kleine maar knusse éénpersoons kamer, stoel, wand-TV en WIFI, bureau en -heel fijn- een eigen badjas want de badkamer is om de hoek. Contact verliep heel makkelijk met de verhuurder.

Ik wil op mijn slaapplek graag frisse lucht ‘s nachts. Het lukte me niet het raam open te krijgen. Het was een redelijk koude nacht en het dekbed was wat dun. Ik had graag een extra dekbed in de kast gevonden. Om dezelfde reden was de gang en badkamer erg koud (maar wel een warme douche gelukkig).

Prettige kamer in sfeervol huis op uitstekende locatie.

Het lukte niet om op de website van booking.com aan te geven dat we graag inclusief ontbijt wilden. Ook ter plekke bleek het niet mogelijk dat alsnog te regelen. Alhoewel Middelburg uitstekende ontbijt restaurantjes heeft, vonden we dat toch een beetje jammer.

Dat de B&B midden in het oude Middelburg ligt.

Het delen van toilet en douche viel toch wat tegen. Jammer ook dat er geen waterpunt in de kamer zelf aanwezig was

Heel netjes en goed geslapen.

De locatie is perfect. Ja kan alle kanten op. De binnenstad is 2 minuten lopen, het station 10 minuten. Als je met de auto bent, weet ik niet hoe het met het parkeren is gesteld. Ik heb wel gezien dat de doorgaande wegen heel makkelijk te bereiken zijn. Wat mij opviel, was de netheid van het geheel. Ook de communicatie met de eigenaars is heel soepel. Het bed was prima, ik heb heerlijk geslapen. Waarschijnlijk heb ik bij het boeken niet goed opgelet omdat je het toilet en de badkamer moet delen met anderen. Maar, ik heb er absoluut geen last van gehad. Wel miste ik een wastafel om nog even tanden te poetsen voor het slapen gaan of een glaasje water te pakken. Ik heb geen idee of dit een eenpersoonskamer was, want ik was alleen. Er stonden wel twee bedden in de kamer, als er twee personen in hadden gemoeten, zou het erg krap zijn. Voor mij was het een prima kamer. Bij binnenkomst kan je al direct een kopje koffie nemen met een espresso apparaat en koffiecups, die op je wachten. Ook voor thee was gezorgd. Er is goed aandacht besteed dat een gast zich welkom voelt bij aankomst.

Aan de deur zijn twee haakjes bevestigd. Daar kan je je jas of handdoek aan hangen. Echter is wel op ongeveer twee meter hoogte. Ik kon er net bij... Omdat het voor kan komen dat je 's nachts naar de WC moet, moet je de gang op en drie treden naar beneden naar de WC lopen. Er brand geen licht daar op de gang. Een lichtschakelaar is niet makkelijk te vinden in het donker. Een verbetering zou zijn een lamp met een bewegingssensor te plaatsen.
