Albury House

Friendly welcome on arrival, hosts were very welcoming & friendly and nothing too much trouble. Great choice of breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal and toast. Everything from full English or a combination of items to tailor to everyone's tastes. Room was very clean and comfortable, cleaned everyday and fresh towels exchanged for any used. Great location just a few minutes walk from beach and amenities. Payment was on departure not arrival, although different was not a problem. Definitely recommend the Alburyand would stay again.

Not a major issue but to watch telly, you need to go to player or catch up channels as no direct link to terrestrial telly via an aerial. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Pleasant room. Good storage.

Bathroom was a small cupboard. Had to twist past the sink to get to the loo. Someone larger than me would find that difficult. There wasn't enough room to dry yourself after a shower so I had to open the door to avoid banging arms on the wall and sink. It's a high step up into the shower but there is no grab handle. Loo macerator went off by itself in the night, waking me up with the noise. No, I definitely didn't leave the tap on! TV was ridiculous. It's the size of a tablet, up in the far corner of the room, above the bathroom door. Impossible to watch anything at all on a screen so small. Very poor. Metal bed frame had a curly decoration sticking out at the sides which gave me several bruises. There is a small space beside the bed and the ceiling comes down at an angle, so you have to walk close to the bed and then the metal sticking out gets you!
