The positives - reception staff was lovely and always very kind and helpful. The low score is in no way a reflection of them but the hotel facilities - see negatives below - breakfast was good - location was excellent
The negatives - overall the rooms were in a very poor condition; pictures advertised must have been taken decades ago. Bathroom wasn't clean and neither was the bedroom. - no soundproofing, the rooms were very loud at night - hotel charges 5% on top of the advertised price for a card payment. Common practice in Vietnam, but still they must advertise this during the booking. - rooftop bar and breakfast are in a different building close by.
