We had a great time at Hemelsveld, it's truly a small piece of heaven. Very friendly host, nice and spacious apartment, a lovely garden and the breakfast is just terrific.

A surprise find in the Belgium countryside that was a highlight of our trip.

Paul and Diantha have done an amazing job of creating a space that’s comfortable, beautiful and spacious. it had everything we needed and was equipped with great thought and attention to detail. And the breakfast was very special. Diantha went out of her way to cater Vegan for our daughter.

The accommodation was no less than splendid. The commodities are second to none, the environment is beautiful and the access to the local area is easy. The owner was very kind and available, a true host. A great value for the money.

Nice countryside location. Quiet place. Kind and accurate host. We spend two nice days and had very good impression about the property and surrounding nature. The property accepts pet and it was great value for our lovely dog.

Extremely good bed to sleep. WiFi connection excellent. Owners very nice and friendly 😊 Apartment was nicely decorated and was clean.

When we arrived it was quite cold in the apartment. No owen. Toilet situated in the ground floor and apartment first floor.

Prachtige locatie en origineel met schattige muisjes. Heel leuk voor gezinnen (kleine kinderen) liggen leuke boeken en spelletjes. Bedden zijn zeer comfortabel. Heerlijk geslapen. Ziet er allemaal keurig uit. Mooi in oude stijl. Lieve eigenaars, gastvrij ontvangen! ♡

Absolute aanrader!

Wij werden enorm gastvrij ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Locatie top, verblijf met ontbijt top, faciliteiten top! De tuin beschikt over meerdere lounge ruimtes. Wij sliepen in zwaluwnest, leuk appartementje.

Alken als uitvalsbasis vonden we eigenlijk top om verschillende leuke plekken zoals Hasselt, Sint Truiden, be-MINE en nationaal park de hoge kempen dichtbij te hebben. We verbleven in het zwaluwnest wat een top appartement was met 2 slaapkamers. Het appartement zelf is heel gezellig ingericht en alles is aanwezig. Het is heel mooi en rustig gelegen met een supermooie tuin en charmante en behulpzame gastvrouw en gastheer!

Vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters Goed uitgeruste accommodatie en goede bedden Bedankt voor de tips ivm restaurants en bezienswaardigheden Alken is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten naar Borgloon of Midden Limburg. De gereserveerde BBQ was uitstekend verzorgd en vers, leuk om te genieten in de prachtige tuin
