Hidden gem in Seminyak.

Ben’s Bali villa is awesome. There is so much space to relax and unwind. The pool is a decent size and was the perfect temperature. The villa was really clean and tidy and the whole process of getting into the villa with the help of Kadek was so easy. He is so helpful.

There are a lot of gardens and a couple of water features/fishponds so we found there to be quite a few mosquitoes. Other than that is was perfect.

Laid back true Balinese feel to property. Great location. Good for a family. Cleaners were really nice and communicated well and made you feel welcome. Having a water filter station is great and the Bintang supermarket nearby is also great.

Upstairs balcony needs maintenance work, and the mozzies are bad (wet season) but it’s a great place.

The location was superb, very big property to move around in. The pool Is bigger than most villas I have stayed in. The view of the fireworks from the second level was also great.

The cleaners did their best but the place needs a major overall.

I loved the living space & the well equipped kitchen. It was also in a great location.

The sleeping areas were really weird, with the beds on platforms & a lot of weird lights around them. Also we found out the staff were staying on the property in a door off the kitchen; which we only found out because somebody coughed & it wasn’t any of us. Private??

A beautiful oasis in Seminyak with very attentive staff but in need of a refresh

The villa is beautifully decorated with gorgeous gardens and pool. It feels like a little oasis from all the noise and chaos of Seminyak. The staff were very attentive and did everything they could to help. The place is very clean. It’s about a 15 min walk to the beach, 5 mins to the grocery store and shops.

The place is pretty run down and in need of a refresh - leaks in the roof, loose electrical and bathroom fittings, old cushions and linens etc. The kitchen could also use a few more cups/glasses etc There are lots of mosquitos too although there are nets on all the beds - brings your repellent if you’re sensitive to them.

A great find for families or a group of friends that don’t mind getting about on foot or are ok with a bikes.

Loved the unique design and open living, the pool and gardens are amazing. The showers being open to nature was so good. Each room had its own bathroom plus a spare for the pool area. Ben the host and Kadek the housekeeper were great to deal with and any maintenance was dealt with quickly.

The location is very quiet and it is a 10 to 15 min flat walk to shops, restaurants, beach which was ok but we found it was hard for transport to find us.

Wonderful, private & peaceful location to visit and relax.

The location being central to all that is Seminyak was beautiful. The lush green gardens and treetop views, stunning. Peaceful surroundings.

Decking for upper level needs replacing/maintenance for safety. Air conditioner for room at front of villa & upstairs may need re-gassing or replacement as was struggling to keep rooms comfortable. Stovetop needs replacing as almost corroded through completely. Fridge or fridge seals need replacing. Rooftop seating area needs some wall or garden lighting to be usable at night time.

Gem in the middle of Seminyak

The staff were amazing, we had a technical issue and Ben sent some one out straight away to fix the location is ideal, and close to everything. The pool is fantastic.

Distance from Main Street. When it rained the stairs became wet so was worried for safety of using them. When it rained the way to get from kitchen to outdoor lounge was a puddle and you got wet walking between them

It’s not that close to anything which was disappointing because the map was deceiving and we really wanted to be much closer to be able to walk out at night and feel safe. We wanted a three bedroom villa but the third room didn’t really feel very safe and was very dusty.

I totally loved this villa and would happily stay again.

I was able to message the staff when I was nearby and advise them of my arrival time. They met me and showed me through the expansive villa and provided a solid handover. The pool was great, kitchen was functional and I appreciated that there was a water bubbler with spring water. The bathrooms were perfect, and there was a great range of space for me and the other couple we were travelling with; we could be together or apart and it was really lovely. The proximity to shops and warungs was good; very central

Minor maintenance issues including the door handle on the main gate. The lane to get to the villa is very, very narrow and our driver was too nervous to go through so we had to walk some distance with cases but that is not the fault of the villa, just something that guests may need to be aware of.

Excellent - many thanks Ben and colleagues!

We had a fabulous stay at Ben's villa and we all agreed that it was even better than we were expecting. The location was perfect (although slightly trick y to find on arrival) - in a very peaceful area between the beach and the main shopping street. And with the bonus of a large supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The beds were comfortable and the outside space (including the open living area) was excellent. We spent a lot of time in the pool and relaxing on the sofas. I can't really understand the negative reviews - this is one of the best value villas we have ever been lucky enough to stay in.

The kitchen equipment was a bit limited so it would be difficult to do any serious cooking but there were so many lovely and cheap restaurants within walking distance that we ate out most of the time.

great location close to all the facilities. open outside plan was brilliant for our family group. safe location in a neighbourhood of villas and locals. great good sized swimming pool. helpful staff. outside showers are a novelty and each morning new flowers drop into your shower. lots of bird life and frogs in the garden.good air conditioning and fans in the rooms. the rooms are far away enough from each other to get privacy but close enough to be together.

due to the open plan villa we got bitten by mosquitoes a lot. we tried everything to stop the bites but nothing worked. it was hard for taxis to find so we walked to the local shop and met them there. the kitchen was very basic and had ants as it was open. we still managed to cook a proper Christmas dinner just had to cover everything while we cooked.

Spacious old villa, very unwelcoming owner, very hard to reach by car

Spacious villa, spacious main bedroom and lounge. They were pretty responsive when we needed help (old pipe burst in bathroom)

Host was extremely difficult to deal with and was very unwelcoming. Wouldn't tell us the location even after we paid in full. A really old villa. The photos were so much better, may be taken 20 years ago. When it rains you'll be exposed to rain if you need to walk out of the room (you need umbrellas to go to the kitchen etc). A lot of ants in the open bathroom. A long walk from the car park, not recommended if you have luggage or baby.

Perfect stay with our family

The Villa is spacious and the swimming pool is big enough, the garden is lovely, our kids loved it so much! The place is quiet and far from crowds. Ben is really accommodation to our request and the villa staffs are nice and friendly. The living room is cozy for hangout, sofa is really big for us all to snuggle and watch tv together. There are bathroom in every room and one near the living room so easy for us not to have to go to the room after swimming for a quick bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious, we cook a lot and eat a lot during our stay with three kids who are always hungry. Thank you Ben for making our stay memorable.

The place was very far from main road and bringing a car was very difficult. Host was extremely rude on arrival as she had to wait quite a bit for us (unfortunately we got stuck in the season traffic and took us 4 hrs to reach). The villa in itself was a let down- rats in rooms (you can hear them through the night), poorly lit rooms, unhygienic bedrooms and bathrooms completely open. If you are planning to travel with a family and children, place is best avoided.

Super miejsce na wyjazd grupy znajomych.

Duży, zadbany basen, spora przestrzeń do wspólnego spędzania czasu. Ciekawie poznać klimat kąpieli na otwartym powietrzu. Obiekt jak na zdjęciach. Obsługa była do dyspozycji i dbała o porządek.

Byliśmy grupą, więc mieliśmy do dyspozycji 3 pokoje poza przestrzenią wspólną, w jednym z nich na górze, klimatyzacja nie do końca działała, mimo ustawienia jej na 18 stopni, co jest dość niską temperaturą, nie spało się komfortowo, gdzie w pozostałych pokojach już przy 23-25 stopniach było bardzo przyjemnie. Nie można mieć zastrzeżeń, że jest inaczej jak na zdjęciach, lecz myślałam, że wystrój jest trochę nowszy i bardziej zadbany.

2 ruime kamers , een kamer wat kleiner en een onhandig bed. 4 badkamers! Ruime leefruimte en gaaf dakterras. We hebben hier een heerlijke tijd gehad, personeel dat elke dag klaar staat als je dat zou willen. En is erg vriendelijk. De villa ligt 6 minuten lopen van een drukke winkelstraat en 8 minuten lopen van het strand
