A spacious studio in a wonderful building that is with walking distance to most of the sites we wanted to see in Caen

We had a lovely stay at Villa Republique. Our host Severine went out of her way to welcome us and even took us to one of the war memorials as she was working nearby.

Beautiful Caen .

The location is right in the heart of the old town near wonderful cafes and shops . Historical sites are within walking distance.Can park the car outside (fees apply ) .Wonderful host full of knowledge..Room has great lighting and everything you need .

Beautiful double aspect flat with absolutely lovely views over the park below.

Our host was delightful and met us there to handover the keys and give us helpful tips. Although there were two flights of stairs she insisted to help with our luggage. She also made the taxi reservation for our departure day which was much appreciated. She went above and beyond to make sure we were settled well.

There is a microwave/grill in the apartment but a convection oven (maybe an air fryer) would be super.

central location to tourist sights. quiet. generous size of living space. renovated bathroom with washing machine.

the person who was to provide the key was not there at the agreed time. we stood outside on the street for almost an hour. had to engage help of nearby business to telephone owners and for someone to come. the living room/bedroom was rather stark and bare in terms of decor. the advertising photo was rather misleading in this respect. there did not seem to be any way to turn the heating on. the heated towel rail wouldn’t stay on.

Great location, clean and very comfortable self-contained accommodation.

The host contacted us and we met up outside the property within 15mins of arrival. The host took the time to orientate us and provided some useful info on the location, and things to do and see, etc.

There was really nothing we did not like.

Le foto pubblicate non rispecchiano propriamente la realtà, camera e bagno datati, avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata, due piani senza ascensore, quindi molto scomodo per le valigie, ma d’altra parte si sa, si trova in un palazzo storico

Casa in centro Caen

Appartamento molto bello e luminoso completo di tutto: letto comodo bagno con doccia bella grande e phon, cucina con il minimo di pentole ma per una mini vacanza van benissimo servizio piatti e bicchieri perfetto tutto ben pulito, macchina caffè con capsule top! Frigo perfettamente funzionante, casetta bella grande! Non manca nulla siamo stati benissimo L'appartamento è praticamente in centro quindi una piccola passeggiata e si è in centro Caen siamo stati benissimo Altra nota positiva il posto auto nel cortile del condominio! Vacanza in Normandia perfetta Caen punto perfetto per visitare tantissimi paesi normanni :)

Unica piccola pecca se posso consigliare: un paio di cuscini letto in più (quelli presenti veramente "mini") e magari è sempre gradita una bottiglia di acqua all'arrivo La casa è al secondo piano senza ascensore ma è scritto nel sito quindi magari un po' scomoda per chi ha problemi a salire le scale ma per tutti gli altri nessun problema

Zentral bezahlbar charmant. Würden wieder buchen

Lage (zentral aber dadurch etwas mehr Geräusche durch zb betrunkene junge Leute in der Nacht. Aber immer nur beim vorbeigehen ) Nettes Apartment in altem Haus War eigentlich alles vorhanden für Frühstück (haben nicht gekocht etc) Selbst bei warmen Tagen hält das alte Gemäuer die Wohnung noch akzeptabel „kühl“. Aber keine Garantie bei Hochsommer 😂 Nette Gastgeber. Insgesamt habe wir uns Wohlgefühlt

Wie gesagt, die zentrale Lage bringt auch etwas mehr Lärm mit sich. Wobei nachts kein Verkehr aber s. o. Info: Altes Haus = nur Stufen. Wir hätten in Carn noch 1-2 Tage Länge bleiben können. Ist nett 😎
