Great house, but difficult access.

Great characterful house, beautiful outlook, lots of room. staff were exceptional.

Unfortunately it was too isolated and inaccessible for us. The weather didn’t help as it rained for 3 of our 4 days stay.

It is sooooo loud!! no windows makes it charming, but there is more noice as in the city center, the house is on a rock and the waves clashed on the rick whole day and night, relaxing is not possible, the decibels are extremely high and bad for the soul!

Absolutely amazing holiday at the The Impossible Beach House!!

Phenomenal property - beautiful Balinese decor that was somewhat rustic (not a house for the very young or very old!) but absolutely breathtaking. Ramdhan, Leah and Teddy were amazing hosts - so thoughtful but not intrusive in any way. Always there when you need them, beautiful breakfasts very morning and a delicious dinner one night too! We’ll never forget this house and hope to be back one day. It may be considered expensive but the view, service and unique experience is worth every dollar!

Fantastic, rustic retreat. A hidden gem!

Having been met at the airport and then by the staff at the top of the hill, took all of the thinking out of our arrival. It was so great to have that all in place. The House was immaculate, spacious, rustic, unique and with such a tricky access left us with complete privacy, not to mention the most spectacular views. The staff were so professional and helpful (We were surprised that they were there the whole time. We were just expecting them for breakfasts, but they were invaluable). Ramdan was especially attentive and helped me over and above his duties when I had lost my bank card. They guided us through our ignorance of living in Impossible House, supporting us with organising transport as well as meals. Their choice of driver for us was also excellent. They should be highly commended. Thank you also to Dias at the office, for all the communication before we left Australia and for being so accommodating and supporting us right up to the end on our last day. Your service was exceptional. This house is not for the feint hearted: the steps outside and in are quite a challenge for those with bad knees - but still so worth it! - and you have to be happy with cold showers in the side of a cliff, complete with the occasional crabs and monkeys, to add to the experience, but for us we couldn't have wished for more. A week in paradise with family, such a treat! Many thanks once again to you and your staff.

There was nothing we didn't like, but as there was no internet, it would have been nice to have had a map or a little more information about the local area available at the house, to help us with our planning. We are so used to having information available at our fingertips these days! Having said that, though, it was nice to be surprised by our driver!

Super verblijf dankzij gastvrijheid en geweldige ligging.

Een super mooi, sfeervol en avontuurlijk huis. De 2 hosts Ari en Lon hebben het verblijf super gemaakt voor ons en onze twee dochters. Twee keer hebben wij een heerlijke maaltijd door ze laten bereiden. De rest van het verblijf hebben ze gezorgd voor heerlijke verse en gezonde ontbijtjes en een schoon verblijf. Ze zijn super vriendelijk en helpen met alles. Kunnen ook goed met kinderen overweg! Het uitzicht is echt adembenemend mooi en je bent weg van de drukte in Uluwatu. Binnen 10 minuten wandelen kun je drukte wel weer opzoeken.

Het pad naar het verblijf toe is een flinke klim. Goed te doen als je goed ter been bent, maar in de warmte en met bagage is het een pittige wandeling. Dit wisten we echter wel van tevoren. Het uitzicht is adembenemend, door de ligging direct aan de oceaan. Echter is het geluid van de golven tegen de rotsen behoorlijk, vooral in de nacht kan het zorgen voor “overlast”. Er zijn op de locatie wel oordopjes beschikbaar.
