Chambres Rue de la République

Lovely little gite on the main street (République) in town. Walkable to everything: Restaurants, shops, beach, castle, and Old Town. Friendly staff. Clean, quiet, and secure.

The establishment has a super location and a big bath tub which, after a long day of walking in the chilly winter air, was a big plus.

The breakfast which is available for purchase could be a bit more robust. (Cheeses, meats, eggs etc.)

The room was beautiful, with a nice bathroom and balcony.

The problem was a delivery at 5:30 in the morning just underneath my balcony. The noise was terrible as workers were dragging heavy pallets of drinks on the ground. I asked them to be more quiet, and they did try, but the noise continued for at least another hour. It was rather unfortunate at such an early hour of the morning and made the experience in the room less pleasant. And I was tired the rest of the day because of the lack of sleep.
