It had lots of charm and great views in a very quiet village.. There was a small mini mart and a rest that was walking distance away...
The location was a bit remote and a good distance from the main towns and beaches. So a vehicle is a must .

Das Haus in dem sich die Wohnung befindet ist sehr schön hergerichtet. Man kann wunderbar abends draußen sitzen. Die Lage ist bestens um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben täglich einen Wetterbericht v.a. bezüglich Wind bekommen und eine Karte in der u.a. schöne Strände und gute Restaurants eingezeichnet waren.
Die Küche ist etwas klein und spärlich eingerichtet. Ist aber nicht schlimm, weil das Restaurant im Ort sehr gut ist. Uns hat v.a. ein Schneidebrett für Obst und Gemüse gefehlt. Ein Messer hatten wir selber dabei.

We spent 7 nights at this property while exploring the beautiful island of Kythira. (We stayed on the ground floor, in the middle room of the three rooms located there.) The location was lovely, and the room had a charming, traditional style that matched the character of the island. However, we found that the space, although aesthetically pleasing, felt a bit too small and tightly arranged for a longer stay. The bed was a bit narrow and the mattress not particularly comfortable, but still manageable.
Our main concern was the significant mold we found inside the wardrobe, which gave off a strong smell when opened. As a result, we avoided using it during our stay. We were out for the most of the day, and every evening that we returned the room smelled musty from the mold, likely due to limited ventilation, as there was no rear window to allow proper airflow.
There were also a few details that could have improved our experience: the room was a bit dusty on arrival, towels were not replaced during out 7-night stay, and the bins in the bathroom and kitchen were not emptied (not major issues, but worth noting). Some basic amenities like liquid soap or shampoo were also missing, which we would have appreciated knowing in advance.
The small kitchenette and fridge were adequate for very light use, though the freezer was too weak to freeze two plastic icepacks overnight. These are not major issues, but they could be important to guests planning a longer stay.
Overall, while our experience wasn’t perfect, we did enjoy our time on the island. With a few improvements in maintenance and clearer information about services offered, this place could be a much more comfortable option for future visitors.
