Located within a 7 min walk to the centre of Hermanus and safe to walk home at night. Breakfast was very good and served in a nice, compact room. The pool area is idyllic.

Good and safe location, easy to walk along promenade into town. Easy to find and to park. Room was clean and comfortable. Good idea in saving water from shower heating up to water plants. Good breakfast, plenty of options and choice. Nice pool although didn't use it.

Lovely place, spotless and beautifully decorated. Nice host and perfect service. They prepared a great early breakfast so that we could be on time to our whale watching tour. Comfortable beds and many details to feel warm and at home even in cold winter nights. Highly recommended!

Just lovely! always our favourite place to stay in Hermanus

Our 2nd stay at "the cottage".!! Wonderful, warm and efficient staff. Excellent yummy breakfast. We love the cottage because it's quite private with own braai/entrance/garden. And also close to the (huge) pool. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for us because we have 2 x14yr olds, but might be a bit tricky for very young kids or older adults. Good location - we walked easily into town centre

Very friendly and efficient staff! Everything was most enjoyable. Will definitely return when we need a break away!! Location was near centre and easy to walk to. Peaceful and quiet!

Jams in jars...maybe just small disposable tubs? Also with the butter...just a suggestion. There were no instructions re tv. Took 3 days to find the dstv channel settings. Kitchen needs lids for the pans.

Great place to discover Hermanus

Very nice staff (even waited for us for several hours because we got delayed by traffic), the breakfast is great as well. The location is great as well, you can virtually reach everything in 5-10 minutes.

The decor of the room did not feel super comfy but maybe that was just our taste 🤷🏻‍♂️
