The arrangements to meet the key holder by the Welcome team were tortuous and lengthy.Could be done better with only one contact name and address not 3 However the keyholder was delightful and exactly on time The instructions for the WIFI need updating and clarifying The dishwasher did not work It would have been nice to have a welcome bottle and coffee/milk available on arrival

Amazing views from a historic building.

The location and views were incredible! 7 large windows looking out in the grand canal. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Ernst was awesome to work with. He ensured everything was ready upon our arrival, answered our questions, and was just great to work with.

No air conditioning. The listing said it had a/c but there wasn’t any - just fans. Of course, it’s a very old and historic building and I’m sure there are restrictions on installing a/c units. The breezes at night helped to cool the house down, but it was so warm inside that it made it hard to enjoy it during the day. My suggestion is to just make sure and state this clearly in the listing if you’re visiting during a hot month (we went in August so definitely warm). The other thing that could be improved is the beds. They were very hard and uncomfortable.

We had a nice family gathering in this flat!

Nice flat in a historical "palazzo", which gives you a good flavor of the venitian life. The dining room is probably the best room, full of light thanks to the large windows on Canal Grande. Some interesting antiques and paintings are spread in the flat, which adds to the atmosphere. Excellent location close to San Toma station, next to the house of the great Carlo Goldoni, 10 minutes walk from Rialto and 20 minutes from Piazza San Marco. And do not miss the visit of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, 5 minutes walk, it is an amazing place! For food lovers, the restaurant "La Patatina", 4 minutes walk from the house, is a good address...

If you arrive by vaporetto to San Toma station with heavy luggage, be ready to walk through some very narrow (but so "pittoresque"!) streets, and cross one bridge with steps.

You Venitian apartment overlooking the Grand Canal.

Old appartment with character overlooking the Grand Canal in the heart of Venice. Perfect location, great view. Plenty of room for 2+2+1: two large bedrooms and a small one (for one person), nice dining room overlooking the Grand Canal - terrific for breakfast, leave loving room. Next to the gondola canal crossing, great restaurants within walking distance. Just loved it.

The large bathroom could be improved: the bathtub cannot be used as shower as such. One of the fans didn't work.

Sofort wieder

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ein Traum. Etwas abseits aber doch mitten drin. In nächster Umgebung genug Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. In ca 15 Minuten ist man an der Rialto Brücke. Die Haltestelle San Toma ist etwa 5 Minuten entfernt, bzw. auch eine Gondelfähre.
