Wonderful! Sicily is not only beautiful landscapes and great food, but also loveliest people. This was true for all the places we stayed during the 3 week trip, but in Case degli Avi even more so. We arrived after a very long drive and were met by a very lovely family, who showed around the amazing house, part of which is a small museum. We were also treated to local chocolate and almond cookies and got a welcome box with cold drinks and brioches. Since we arrived late on Saturday when the stores were already closed, this was more than a perfect welcome. The house itself is amazing, restored with love and attention to every detail and somehow always smells nice :) And the jet shower is all you need after a day of walking around. The location is great too, within a walking distance to everywhere you will want to see in Modica. Grazie mille Giovanni, Massimo and Rita <3!
