Mimma holiday house

The location and view was very good! The vintage decor was nice. Host was very considerate and drove our luggage to our apartment because our car would not fit.

The shower drain backed up a little, nothing a little draino couldn't fix. The wifi worked well upstairs, but not in the kitchen. Because you are sleeping in a cave-like setting, sleeping was a little humid.

Great view on rooftop (that’s what we came for) Helpful host. Safe place to park the car. Kitchen has everything we need.

We really liked the apartment but the shower was a big issue. It’s a small tank and can only heat up to 55 degree ish. It’s not enough for even 1 person to have a comfortable warm shower. Then it takes a long time(90mins+!!) to heat up back to 55 degree from 30ish degree. It’s painful each night to get the second person wait very long, especially when we are in winter and it’s very cold indoor without a real heater. So it’s quite frustrating to not able to have proper hot shower at night. But it might not be a problem at all if in summer. Also the towels have some smell of mold also the corridor.

Location, the views, the charm of the apartment the host was very helpful and met us as we drove there and helped us with parking.

Beds could have been more comfortable.

Dechberoucí výhled na Modica. Opravdu velkorysá terasa. Nám se v domě líbilo. Viděli jsme fotografie na Booking a věděli jsme, do čeho jdeme - nečekali jsme moderně vybavenou novostavbu. Dům je starší (je cítit vůně starého domu), zařízený úměrně svému stáří. Jednoduše vybavena kuchyň, vše důležité zde bylo, sůl, cukr, olej, káva… V centru jste pěšky 5min po schodech. Parkovací místo je 1min od domu.

Pro někoho bude komplikovanější, že se kuchyně nachází dole, koupelna, ložnice a pokoj v 1.patře, terasa ve 2.patre. Nám to nevadilo, ale pokud se někomu špatně chodí, nebude asi úplně spokojený. Modica je kaskádovité město, počítali jsme s tím, že budou všude schody :-) na fotce jsou schody na terasu a výhled z ní.
