Two nights in katun Mokra

Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything. The nature and surroundings were pleasant, we enjoyed drinking coffee in the yard.

The host Boris was rude and unfriendly, he yelled at us and claimed that we left the apartment in a mess and dirty, that there was garbage everywhere and other disgusting lies. When we arrived he didn't even greet us properly, we didn't feel welcome from the beginning of our stay - the only important thing was to collect money from us as soon as possible.

I arrived way later than I was supposed to. Nevertheless, the friendly host was waiting for me and showed me my room with a smile.

A way was rather difficult. Keep in mind there’s no one supermarket there even to buy water. Closest restaurant is in half hour from the location and open till 19:30. Nights are rather cold

An amazing experience

Boris and his wife are amazing hosts we arrived late first night past check in time but was there when arrived. Beautiful location very peaceful bourse riding and breakfast available. No Wi-Fi or signal but this is part of the experience.

Gem of Montenegro

We are totally in love ❤️ Beautiful surrounding, well equipped house, quiet, special to be without WiFi, awesome hiking and horseriding. Boris is a very good host, we had interesting conversations. We were also happy to meet his wife Ana. She prepared a typical Montenegrin dish for us.

The property is located in a quite village and is an excellent starting point for hikes in the Žijovo Mountain.

A place to visit!

It was the best week away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The surroundings are stunning and it is a perfect place to recharge your batteries. Boris was a great help with all our questions 🤠

Amazing place with great horse riding adventures and plenty of space for kids

Boris and his wife were so welcoming and kind. They really made our stay wonderful. Cottages are comfortable and clean with all the basic amenities. Location is stunning and fabulous with kids as they can play and run around very safely. We definitely recommend staying here, we will be back!

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. Only recommendation would be to add some top sheets to the beds and maybe a shower curtain. But these were minor things that really didn’t bother us.

Idyllic rural home, unspoilt and relaxed.

Stunning location in near isolation, immaculately kept and with a lovely owner. Amazing walks from the doorstep of a traditional hamlet and the opportunity of a unique horse riding experience. Waking to see cows, horses, dogs and cats on your doorstep is different! Boris is really helpful and has lots of information and advice about the area. No WiFi in the house, but if you really need it you can access local network from a rock a minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend Ribnjak restaurant a 20 minute drive back towards the main road - the food is really, really good. Access roads are a little daunting but you get the hang of them and the locals are very good about helping with passing, just stock up on provisions before you go. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest you close the windows at night as the cows have bells!

Amazing stay in the mountains - great hospitality

We stayed 3 nights with our family of 5. The house is basic but has everything you need. Very clean! We loved the views, the rest, nature, the many facilities for the kids, everything. There is no wifi but we didn’t miss it a bit. Boris’ hospitality is great - does everything to make you feel comfortable in the house. Horseback riding was amazing. Would love to come back!

Amazing location, cosy hut

Amazing location in a beautiful hidden valley at 1500m altitude. Surrounded by nature, and they also offer horse rides up the hills. Although I was a solo traveller I stayed in the big hut (4 single beds), which was cosy and comfortable with a kitchenette and fridge, log stove (it was cold at night in late Sept at that altitude), seating area, satellite TV, hot shower. The hosts were friendly and spoke good English.

Amazing place, far from the hustle and bustle of modern world, in the middle of nature. Our girls went horse riding with Boris twice. He is a wonderful host and very friendly to all the animals. Highly recommended.

We had to leave after 2 nights.. next time we stay longer.

This is exceptional place, in the middle of the mountains, peace and quiet, the kids also loved it; the owner is very friendly and helpful; the house is tidy and clean; we certainly be back to try horse ride; already miss this place.

Fantastic remote location, lovely Katun, friendly and helpful host

This is an incredible place. If you want to experience life away from the mainstream I don't think you could get much better than here. The mountains and walking in this area really are amazing and Mokra offers the perfect base from which to explore them. It's a lovely Katun with everything you need. If you are used to swimming pools and room service this probably isn't the place for you, but if you want a comfortable place to stay in a remote location you should go here.

Отличный вариант для ночевки в горах перед хайкингом, да и просто приехать отдохнуть в горах. Комфортные домики со всем необходимым. Очень гостеприимные хозяева. По запросу хозяйка готовит вкусные домашние завтраки. Вроде бы можно покататься на лошадях, но у нас не было времени. Разрешили оставить машину на территории после выселения, когда мы ушли на хайкинг.

Die kleinen Hütten ersetzen im Prinzip ein Zelt. Es gibt eine kleine gemeinsame Küche und ein gemeinsames Bad. Alles einfach aber sauber und funktional.

Ein überdachter Aufenthaltsbereich zum Essen bei Sonne oder Regen fehlt. In den kleinen Hütten ist hierfür kein Platz.

Lokalizacja jest wyjątkowa, chociaż dojazd dość wymagający ze względu na teren górski. Należy uzbroić się w cierpliwość i stosować do lokalnych zasad ruchu (np. wycofać pojazd, poczekać cierpliwie itd.). Lokal jest ogrodzony ze względu na obecność koni i krów w otoczeniu, więc jest bezpiecznie. Przepiękne położenie umożliwia wyjście na szlak zaczynający się praktycznie za drzwiami.

Mało dokładny opis standardu poszczególnych domków w ofercie: większe i małe domki zasadniczo różnią się wyposażeniem, w małym domku znajdują się wyłącznie materace do spania, a współdzielone łazienka i kuchnia są w osobnych pomieszczeniach, ale bezpośrednio przy małym domku, więc nie jest to duży problem, ale niejakie zaskoczenie.
