Cosy house, secret path to the trainstop!

The location was great. The last bit is a steep hike, but that was fine. What we liked is that walking UP from the property you could actually walk to the trainstop of the Gornergrat train. There is a special stop at a hotel, the train stops a few times. Check the timetable!

The house is quite old, but everything worked fine. Only thing is: the house has no skiroom. So you have to put your skiboots at the heaters to get them dry and warm for the next day. No big deal, but odd in a ski resort.

Great place for the summer but not for the winter.

Large and Comfortable. Beatriz was the best host and she did everything to help make our stay comfortable.

The Long Icy path ( about 91-100 m) uphill to the Apartment. If you carry luggage, expect to fall. When we walked at early mornings and late at nights , at least 1 of us would slip and fall on the icy path. The path is a good climb up the hill and down the hill. Be aware there are No basic toiletries in the apartment. No heat and no WIFI for the first day.

Spacious apartment with many bedrooms. Nice view of Zermatt.

The location is relatively central, but it is difficult to reach. You need to walk up a footpath which is not accessible to cars, meaning you need to carry all your luggage and supplies. The path is not properly cleared for snow, which makes it somewhat difficult. The place lacks good storage space for boots and skies. Kitchen is outdated and not very well equipped.

Chalet agréable, confortable, mais nécessitant une petite remise à niveau

L'emplacement était bien par rapport au centre ville et à la gare. Par contre le chemin d'accès jusqu'au chalet est raide, mais surtout verglacé, sans gravillons suffisants et dangereux pour des personnes en chaussures de ski. Quand à l'appartement, il est spacieux et confortable, mais il y a des chaises qui commencent à se défaire, on a dû déboucher le lavabo de la chambre Leah et dans cette même chambre, une des couette n'a pas une longueur suffisante (elle est carrée) et il n'y a pas d'étagères dans l'armoire.
