Awesome lodge with everything you could hope for!

We loved the Alex Lodge - and hope to return next year. Everything exceeded our expectations: the well designed apartment with outstanding views of the Matterhorn; the fully furnished kitchen with attention to details; the spa facilities with steam room and sauna; the morning delivery of bread; the starter kit on our first day (milk, water and juice); and the warm welcome and service of our host Pamela who accommodated our needs. We have booked many self-catering ski apartments over the past 20 years - and Alex Lodge is by far our favourite. I can not recommend Alex Lodge enough. You must go!

Alex Lodge was an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend.

Pamela was an incredible host. She was very friendly, very communicative, and was always quick to answer any questions we had. We had fresh bread every morning, delivered to our front doorstep. The facilities were excellent. The apartment was very cozy and the kitchen was fully equipped. The balcony looks out onto the Matterhorn, and the skylights in the bedrooms also had great views. Each bedroom was equipped with a private bathroom (2 had showers, 2 had bathtubs). The spa was super relaxing after a day of skiing and was always well stocked with towels and water. It had a whirlpool tub, a sauna, and a steam room. Pamela gave us a ride to and from the train station which was incredibly convenient as it would have been a far walk with our luggage. The location was very near a bus stop which made getting to/from the town/gondola very easy. It was also within walking distance of the Matterhorn express gondola (~10 minutes) but this is not such an easy walk with skiis so I would recommend taking the frequent buses. The apartment also had an indoor ski room so boots and skiis were also safe and warm over night. I would recommend this location incredibly highly. It was an incredible experience and made our stay in Zermatt even more special! Thanks Pamela and Alex!

Dreamy stay in Zermatt

This four bedroom apartment could not have been nicer. The rooms each have their own bathroom. The kitchen and living room are so nice and comfortable. The view of the Matterhorn is impossible to beat.

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay at Alex Lodge. We had the two bedroom and it was even more spacious than anticipated. We appreciated having a full kitchen to prepare meals and enjoyed the views of the Matterhorn from the balconies. The hosts are so nice and Pamela even picked us up at the train station when we arrived and then took us back at the end of our trip. The photos of the property and rooms are gorgeous and the place is even more lovely and luxurious in person.

Most amazing stay in Zermatt especially due to the Lodge we had booked.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. From the pick up from the train station to the check in was so smooth. The owner personally met us to help with the check in which was incredible. The apartment was spacious and very clean and fully equipped with everything we could ask for. Daily we were delivered complimentary fresh bread baskets which were an amazing treat. The location of the lodge was great as we had a clear view of Mount Matterhorn. Will definitely recommend anyone visiting Zermatt to book this lodge.

My family and I feel so lucky to have rented one of Alex Lodge Apartments.

We loved everything, starting with the host. Pamela was exceptional. We felt like royalty with her well-organised pick up at the train station, continued by a wonderful tour of the apartment and great delivery of key information. We could not ask for more, it was perfect! the Apartment is well-situated, spacious, beautiful and clean. It has been by far the best value for our money. Very well price for the premium stay. I highly recommend Alex Lodge to anyone looking to have a perfect vacation.

Really great place for 4 persons with a high quality furniture and equipment. Located in a quiet area near all the trails starting paths. The landlord and service personal are simply the best with all attention possible. I really recommend this place for anyone visiting zermatt.
