It was not a good stay

There was no breakfast unlike what was put on the advert

Charging without my consent-I was charged a total of Kshs. 77,157.78 through my visa card without being asked to give consent and without spending a single day in the facility. I had made a mistake on the travelling dates and instead of the owner asking why i had not arrived, she waited until the days were almost over and deducted the money from my account. When i enquired from the owner she said that i booked and never turned up to the facility. I thought this was very unfair since the owner of the facility didn't spend a single coin on the facility while she took all the money. Actually i regretted why i gave the details of my account to her. Cleaning-The room was only cleaned once after my enquiry, the owner didn't arrange for the cleaning during my stay at the facility. Changing dollars to Euros-I didn't have enough dollars and i requested the owner of the facility to give me time to go and change in a bureau but she became very impatient to a point of addressing me in a rude way

Definitely Will Stay Here Again!

Room is small, but cozy and has everything I needed. The other room is much bigger, but the small one fit my budget and was comfortable.

A mouldy brussels basement.

The property is close to the institutions and has access to a backyard (though not cleaned in a long time)

I'm sorry but there needs to be an institution that bars such mouldy places from making profit, they are unhealthy to reside in. The "room" was a niche in the basement, probably 8 sq. m with the bathroom combined, and reeked so much of mould that I had to sleep with the window open. The hostess barely reacted to messages, esp ones informing her that the only devices in the room - a lamp and a TV - did not work.

Very convenient stay in the European Quarter

Very convenient location in the European Quarter. Public transport, cafes and restaurants abound in the area. Clean, quiet and spacious room, well equipped kitchenette, very friendly host.

Narrow stairs with no lift to get to the room, so better not to carry heavy luggage.

there was a super bad smell in the room coming from the bed and mattress , when i opened it i found there was i guess dog piss or something not sure , the smell was really bad , the room wasn't clean at all there was hair everywhere ,

Everything was perfect. The owner of the Guesthouse was very friendly and helpfull. The room was also very nice and clean. The bathroom was new and big. We have booked the apartment for 3 people so they have provided 1 additional folding bed for us. The location is perfect. Very close to the metro station. There are a lot of restaurants and bars near by. I would say that it's pretty calm there. Highly recommend.

Exceptional

First, before my stay, excellent communication. Fast and kind replies to my questions. Warm welcome and check-in earlier than agreed. Super-clean, spacious room with all you could possible need or wish for. Family atmosphere with the kitchen where you can prepare your meal and/or coffee and enjoy it laid back in the sitting area. The neighbourhood is elegant, quiet and neat, next to the lovely Ambiorix park and 5-6 minutes to Schuman roundabout and the EU quarter. In order to get there, you "have to" go down the lovely Archimedes Street with pubs and restaurants. Metro, buses and shops, all lined up along.

The only thing I didn't like was that my stay was so short :-)

Within walking distance from the European Commission, perfect location for a business trip. Friendly home-like welcome, excellent hosts, very easy going and smily. A generous check-out policy - by 12 am. Thank you for lending us the umbrella! We'll be back :)

Excellent!

Beautiful room in a nice building. Room was clean, comfy, the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Small kitchen was very convenient for coffee and a little snack. We also used the fridge for some perishable food items. Best of all, Sara (the host) and her whole family was very helpful, responsive, and completely welcoming. The other guests were nice too, maybe because it is such a pleasant place overall. It's a bit outside the city center so you need to take public transport every day, but it was worth it because it's really good.

Nice location, nice host but moldy room

I liked the location, heating worked and the friendly manager

Room was heavily smelled musty. You can see black mold on walls. Toilet was covered in pubic hair. Two of the four pillows on the bed smelled like someone's oily hair. garden"suite" was just a garden shed.
