Phenomenal hospitality & value for money

Where do I start! Phenomenal place to stay - the family go above & beyond. I was given fruit and coffee each morning. Umbrellas, a cooked meal the first night I arrived. The room was huge- beautiful crisp aircon & the surrounding plants and flowers are beautiful. Short 10 minute walk into Ubud town centre . Unbelievable stay ~ thank- you ❤️🙏

"Welcome to the family!" A Balinese experience.

When I arrived, Wayan welcomed me with "this is the Balinese experience, welcome to the family!" When I left, I felt this was very true. I experienced so many traditional things together with his mom: we made offering baskets, went to local market to buy perfectly ripe exotic fruits, and she thought me how to make balinese sambal bonkot from the flower Kecombrang (see pictures). I came to Bali for spiritual inspiration and a view into a different way of life and this amazing women gave it to me. She is radiant. The location is quiet, with no traffic in the dead-end street and close to main road. You can hear birds in this green & lush garden, my room was accross from the beautiful Balinese hindu "family temple" (see picture).

Authentic Bali

The B&b is 15’ walking from the city center, in a quiet street. You can hear the geckos in the garden The room is simple but for a short stay it is perfect. The family hosting is amazing, warm kind people. I felt welcomed here If you are looking for a Bali atmosphère come here!

The second night the ac stopped working and I had no hot water, but it was okay! I stayed only 2 nights but I would have stayed longer with no problem

The bathroom walls were pretty dirty (mold) and need a scrub :/. The outdoor common area (where there is a fridge) could use cleaning/tidying up.

Gorgeous comfortable room in a prime location.

Gorgeous room and perfect location. The family who own the homestay are all so lovely and helpful. Gave us free coffee, tea & fruits when we arrived. Rented a scooter off of them for 100K per day. So quiet and peaceful with a huge comfy bed. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend

Close to the center and comfortable room.

My accomodation was very clean, well maintained, with drinking water supplied. The family is sooo nice. There was always coffee in the morning, and the garden in front of the room gives a peaceful vibe. Walk distance from the center.

No brainer with a great Balinese family.

Fantastic location and family. Tasteful breakfast. Everything clean and working perfectly. Enough available chairs and table to work. Will come back for sure.

The bulb over the bed was burned out, or disconnected, which made the room a bit shady. I didn't complain though as the light was still enough

The best experience of living here. I recommend this place!

I stayed in this wonderful homestay for 2 weeks and it was amazing! Perfect location, central but very quiet and no crazy traffic outside the window. It felt like home, very cosy and friendly. Clean, great fast wifi and the option to rent a scooter. I will definitely come back here next time. Thank you so much!

Great value for money stay with kind Balinese family

Very nice hosts, free breakfast (banana pancakes and fresh fruit cooked by the grandmother). Big bed. Enough Closet space. AC.

Noise of the cat on the roof at night. Needed earplugs. Would be nice with a bit of a common space outside of the room but it was right in the family compound so it didnt feel private to go outside and hang out there. mostly hanging out in the room

The Perfect Ubud Stay: Clean, Welcoming and Comfortable!

Love this place✨ The staff are so helpful! They picked us up at 3am from the airport no problem I was so grateful. I appreciated it so much! The room was so clean and perfect for the night stay when we arrived. Aircon was great, bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend!!

Maybe the shower pressure needs changing but everything else was perfect!😊

Great for a short stay

Very cute home stay on a quiet street. There is many children running around as well as animals. It feels homey :) The owner and his mum are very kind and understanding! The lady makes yummy breakfast/lunch as well.

There’s not too much privacy as the room is overlooking a entrance gate to the house but it was ok (I was closing the curtains when changing/taking the shower).

peaceful balinese room

super comfy bed, hot shower and wayan helped wherever he can. it’s inside a peaceful balinese family complex. 100% calmness. it was just great. because of the so low price, we had doubts, but everything was great

The owners are very helpful and friendly. They can give you rides on their motorbike or in the car to places you would like to go :) My room was spacious and clean. The air con was great. I like the 24 hour check in as I got in late at night from the airport. As a solo traveller I felt very welcome and safe staying here. It’s great value for money- I would recommend staying here!!

It is a little bit hard to find on google maps. Getting there was a bit tricky but once you know where it is- it’s a fab location. Very quiet as it’s in a backstreet.

A really genuine Bali experience

The room was clean and even had a desk to work at. The breakfast cooked by Wayan’s mom was delicious. She even accommodated our dietary preferences (vegan). Wayan was very helpful and answered all of our questions about Balinese culture. I wish Wayan and his family nothing but the best in life.

Je ne comprends pas que cet établissement puisse être aussi bien noté.

Je n’ai pas été en contact avec les personnes. On ne m’a pas dit s’il y’avait un petit déjeuner ou pas. Lorsque je suis arrivée la fontaine à eau était déjà quasiment terminée (il restait deux verres). La chambre était plutôt propre mais la salle de bain n’était pas très propre, j’ai aussi eu la chance de voir un cafard. Et le pire, je ne sais pas ce que c’est mais des choses semblaient courir dans les murs (peut être des rats), cela faisait beaucoup de bruits et cela survenait aux alentours de 22h tous les soirs..
