Great location, but needs proper attention of the stuff

A big room, you can play football inside the room. At least 8m x 7m of room size. Very clean. The internet speed was good as well. Great location, very close to the center, a lot of restaurants, bus stoppages near from the hotel. If you like to stay in a lively place in trieste, you can choose it.

As its a guest room, no reception desk was here. The key was only given by the manager of the hotel only after 15:30. I've tried to contact them several times via booking.com's message service that we will arrive at around 12:00, but there were no responce. We went there at 12:30, we had 2 suitcases as we came from another tourist place. Our plan was to drop the bag at the hotel and roam around, and come to checkin at 15:30. We had to use an extremely ancient elevator of the old building which can accommodate only one person with the suitecases. The elevator was also in the half landing of the stair, so I had to carry the suitcases 2 times with the stair even after using the elevator. After coming to door, there were no one to open, or even to keep the luggage. When I phoned the number, he said I can only check in after 15:30, and I can leave the bag at the bar next to the building outside. So I had to come down again with the suitcases using the old elevator and then left the bags in the bar. It was very tiring, as we came to trieste after long journey. This is the first time happened to me with these sorts of hotel. If they simply replied me in the inbox of booking.com, or if there were proper instructions about dropping the baggage, this could have avoided. Even though the toilet (common toilet) was extremely clean, they ran out of hand washs and even shower gels during the night, at around 23:00. It was night time to call the manager and tell him that the handwash has finished. I will strongly suggest to keep in mind to check if all accessories in the toilets are full or not, everyday. It felt like they are not giving proper attention to the hotel. The building itself is very old

Very pleasant stay !

The location was great, and the room was very spacious with a large shared bathroom. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. Overall, a really pleasant stay!

There was an electric kettle, but no cups to make tea or coffee—just a small detail! :)

A bit unkept but charming room in downtown Triest

It's central and in a classic house in downtown Triest. Comfortable bed.

There was broken glass on the inside window of my room, which could be extremely dangerous if it fell on someone's leg or foot, cutting an artery. It looked like it had been like this for a while. This goes against every safety measure. The floor had not been cleaned for a while. There was hair from previous guests.

Nice large room , shared bathroom

Finding the hotel, it's in a pedestrian area so no place to park and unload your car. Parking is a nightmare in this city. Once parked. Your set. On locating the building we entered, found the apartments and rang the door bed. It did not work. No one came, returned later, tried again this time my friend knocked loudly. The owner took this as being rude, and was rude to us. I tried to explain the door bell is out of order, (he agreed that was the case). This building is lovely, very old and the doors are thick, a slight tap, would not have been heard and we were waiting for over 90 mins past check in time to enter our room. So we found him unfriendly and offered the bare minimum. Maybe he was not having a good day.

So-so accommodation

No coffee machine and it is advertised, no glasses - there is kettle but how can somebody make anything without a glass?! Tv programmes not working (5 works put of 100+) No air conditioning, only ventilator Be aware this is the centre, it is very loud outside - and you have only ventilator so openong the window means possible big noise during night Bidet leaking - that would not be a big problem but i saw in other review this infomonths ago, so it could have been fixed Wc bin not working, it is not opening. Useless stuff in the room - old closet covering some doors, old mirror just hanging on the wall not attached to it.

The stay was comfortable to me.

Perfect location! Clean bed and towels. Spacious room and it was well prepared before arrival. The check-in was no problem, and a special thank you to the property manager for late checking (around midnight) and being in contact, also for letting me leave my luggage in the property after having checked out. The bathroom was cleaned daily, and the whole apartment was maintained with care. Hot water is ok, just one needs to wait a little till it heats up. Coffee bar next door, and a restaurant just in front of the building. Clean street practically in the heart of the city, with 5-minute walk to the pier and 15-minute walk to the central train and bus station. There are a kettle and cups in the room, maybe my recommendation is to add some tea /coffee/sugar for more coziness.

Nothing was disappointing, however, it seems the bidet was leaking a bit.

Great stay, only slightly cold

Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights here. The building is very nice, there is an elevator, and the room is quite spacious. There are a lot of cupboards where you can leave your things, as well as a fridge and a kettle in the room. One thing that was missing, and made our stay uncomfortable was the heating more precisely the lack of. We were there when the temperature was 15-20 degrees outside, inside we were freezing. There is only one radiator, too small for the room( most of the time it was off, even at night). We had to get ready in our jackets and stay with our jackets inside. On the other side, there was this huge blanket that kept us warm at night. The bathroom is amazing, the hallway is also very cozy.

The size of the room and the comfort of the beds

The owner made us feel like kids, just because between when my partner showered, and I went to shower, he went mad because we had not left the bathroom ready...? One was going to the shower after the other and in that small time gap, he checked the bathroom? That made us feel uncomfortable and he told us he had to tidy it before I could have a shower, with bad mood. The room was fine but the man receiving us didn't make us feel comfortable.

Location

No air condition at the temperature above 40°. Entrring property was not explained at all. They i quired just at what time we will arive, but we haven't been told tha there will be no person to meet, that we will have to call the man to give us instructions how to enter.

There was no kitchen access, nor any utensils. On the other hand, you are in Italy, eat out a fabulous pizza! still, no spoon or knife available. The furnitures were extremely chic, loved them!

The location was good, right down in the middle of everything, with rooms overlooking a pedestrian mall with cafes. Room clean and spacious, with antique furniture. Would stay here again.

Would have been better to receive email with check-in instructions before arriving. As it was, none were sent and we had to call the owner when we were standing at the door.
