A big room, you can play football inside the room. At least 8m x 7m of room size. Very clean. The internet speed was good as well.
Great location, very close to the center, a lot of restaurants, bus stoppages near from the hotel. If you like to stay in a lively place in trieste, you can choose it.
As its a guest room, no reception desk was here. The key was only given by the manager of the hotel only after 15:30. I've tried to contact them several times via booking.com's message service that we will arrive at around 12:00, but there were no responce. We went there at 12:30, we had 2 suitcases as we came from another tourist place. Our plan was to drop the bag at the hotel and roam around, and come to checkin at 15:30. We had to use an extremely ancient elevator of the old building which can accommodate only one person with the suitecases. The elevator was also in the half landing of the stair, so I had to carry the suitcases 2 times with the stair even after using the elevator. After coming to door, there were no one to open, or even to keep the luggage. When I phoned the number, he said I can only check in after 15:30, and I can leave the bag at the bar next to the building outside. So I had to come down again with the suitcases using the old elevator and then left the bags in the bar. It was very tiring, as we came to trieste after long journey. This is the first time happened to me with these sorts of hotel. If they simply replied me in the inbox of booking.com, or if there were proper instructions about dropping the baggage, this could have avoided.
Even though the toilet (common toilet) was extremely clean, they ran out of hand washs and even shower gels during the night, at around 23:00. It was night time to call the manager and tell him that the handwash has finished. I will strongly suggest to keep in mind to check if all accessories in the toilets are full or not, everyday. It felt like they are not giving proper attention to the hotel.

It's central and in a classic house in downtown Triest. Comfortable bed.
There was broken glass on the inside window of my room, which could be extremely dangerous if it fell on someone's leg or foot, cutting an artery. It looked like it had been like this for a while. This goes against every safety measure.
The floor had not been cleaned for a while. There was hair from previous guests.
