This stay will rank among my best trip memories.

The location near the historical center was excellent. It felt safe to walk there in the evening. It was also within walking distance of the train station. The hosts were gracious. The room had an enclosed outdoor patio. It was quiet and conducive to a good nights rest. I’m gluten-free and mentioned it through the booking. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate this dietary restriction. I can’t say enough about the breakfast. The natural surroundings were beautiful. This last minute booking was serendipitous. It will easily rank among the top memories of this trip. Thank you hosts.

Apart from the beautiful clean room the stunning breakfast put on by the owners was unbelievable. Even though they didn't speak English, we are Australian, we would definitely recommend anyone to spend a night here with the friendly owners.

This could be a nice enough place but just get rid of the overpoweringly smelly fridge.

The breakfast was really nice , the parking was very useful and the owner was helpful.

The smell. The room (we think the fridge) smelled really really bad. We also didn’t get the room (with balcony ) we booked. I suspect as we were later arriving someone else probably complained about the smell and got swapped to our original room! Also the sliding door to the room didn’t close well and popped open unless you locked yourself in. Also noisy.

Excellent stay, clean room

Our room was very pretty, in vintage pink style, with lot's of nice details. Room was spacious, with all necessary equipement, bed comfortable, big bathroom, everything very clean, enough towels, water heater, fridge... everything like in hotel even this are rooms in private house. There is free private parking, behind the closed fence The owner needs to open the fence and he kindly help us park car. Breakfast was good – bread, butter, fruit, coffee and many more, they got also plant milk and lot's of cakes. We enjoy our stay at B&B Iulia Augusta.

Lovely Experience!

This b&b is run by a charming and welcoming couple. Located within walking distance to the old town by turning on the left and to the beach by turning on the right. Both destinations have a great choice for restaurants. The room was very clean and quiet and I can’t give enough stars for the fabulous breakfast with home-made delicacies, freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious cappuccino, fresh fruit and yogurt and lots of tasty local specialties - all served on a lovely flowery terrace.

Amazing room with insanely tasty breakfast !!!

Very recommended to stay here !!! The room is very big, unexpected in Italy. Very modern, new and nice room with coffee machine, big rest room, two balconies and most important very good air conditioner! The room cleaning was every day ! On each floor is the cooler with fresh water. Very kind owners, who has prepared the breakfast each morning by themselves ! Recommend to try the homemade yogurt - is insanely tasty !!! Also you have each morning fresh orange juice and homemade snacks and cakes and of course cappuccino! At last day we should leave in very early morning at 6AM and at 5 AM we had the same amazing full breakfast as usually - the owners have prepared everything just for us. The beaches are in 10 minutes walk away. So highly recommended to stay here and we hope to come back next year.

We were very disappointed with this highly rated B&B after spending a sleepless night.

Distance to city is ok, Breakfast is good, Overdone with many cakes and excess amount of food. Room size ok,

1.Our room was located on the streetside. 2.Excessive Noise from the street all during the night (Many cars, and especially motorbikes) accelerating and going very fast. We could hardly sleep. We have had the windows opened a few cm's Did not use aircon because the outside noise was the same with windows open. 3.The fridge went on and off every 10 minutes (it is a small detail, but a lot of extra noise, for such a small table fridge. We stayed in a lot of hotels and never had this amount of noise at such a high frequency. 4.Windows. Windows are blinded with material such that you can not look outside, feels like a jail. You cannot roll it up. Opening the windows not a good option because of the excessive street noise. 5.Small balcony, only place for 1 person. Half was filled by washing lines. No chair on the balcony. 6.Check-in, we tried 1400hrs, nobody reacted to doorbell. Finally got reaction by telephone call 15 min later. 7.Communication with owner difficult, Does not speak other languages.

Highly recommended place to stay in the center of Albenga, particularly for the excellent breakfast!

The breakfast was excellent with both salty and sweet items including 4 or 5 homemade cakes that were superb. There was also fresh squeezed orange juice and plenty of fresh fruit and their own homemade yoghurt. I especially appreciated that they allowed us to charge up our electric car and to park it for free just outside the building.

Memory foam pillows and mattress were too soft for my taste, though others may love them. There really wasn't much more to dislike about the place. We were a bit unlucky in finding a nearby restaurant for dinner. There were many to choose from but many were closed for the Sunday evening that we were there, so we ended up in one that was not so great. Perhaps, some better advice of where to eat under the circumstances would have been helpful.

worth every cent!, nicest of places to stay

It's worth every cent you pay!! The room was spacy and clean, comfy bed, big enough shower with toilettries. The breakfast is really tasty with sweet and salty options and the small terrace-garden they have makes it a lot nicer!!!. and the couple although they speak only italian are the nicest pair one can find!, Thanks a lot for all!! On the other hand, there is a bus stop a block away; the train station is 10 mins walk, just as the beach, and there is a supermarket 3 blocks away. Albenga itself, has enough restaurants and bars to spend nice evenings, but one can also go to Alassio and get more choices!

there were two small things we didn't get: working internet (a whole week :( ) and one of our pillows was quite big and sturdy, so the first two nights my neck was destroyed, but could fix it with the other cushions in the room.

A room inside a private condo. Very clean and quite. Everything worked well. Nice breakfast. Good location, a few mins walk from downtown Albenga. Very nice and helpful owner. Free private parking. But call ahead a few mins before arriving because the owner needs to open the gate for you.

Worth staying there just for the breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Iulia Augusta. The staff was welcoming and the furnishing was very homely with a striking attention to detail. I am not a great breakfast eater, but my wife and son are, and they enjoyed tucking into the wonderful homemade fare. Remember to mention if you have food allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements since they go out of their way to find something delicious to eat for everyone.

It was a stone’s throw from the old town centre but perhaps not the best place to stay if you want to find the beach on your doorstep. The only thing that might bother some is that there is no lift, but it does not have many floors either.

Hervorragende Unterkunft, die nur wärmstens empfohlen werden kann. Zimmer sehr ruhig, toll ausgestattet, viel Stauraum, bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten, Badezimmer hervorragend ausgestattet. Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe und allem was das Herz begehrt, Kuchen, Törtchen usw. Einfach herrlich. Abgeschlossener Stellplatz vor dem Haus etwas schwer anfahrbar, aber okay.

Très jolies chambres, spacieuses avec lits très confortables, décoration soignée et excellent petit déjeuner. Centre ville qui peut se rejoindre à pied, place de parking pour la voiture. Petite terrasse pour les beaux jours.
