Bij aankomst werden we zeer hartelijk ontvangen en ondanks dat we wat te vroeg waren konden we gelijk van onze kamer gebruik maken. Het ontbijt elke ochtend was heerlijk en Domenico zorgde voor verse koffie, eitjes, spek en kaas, naast de uitgebreide selectie die in de keuken gepresenteerd werd. De boerderij is op een heuvel gelegen waarvandaan je heel mooi de bergen en het dal kan overzien. Ook zit het op prima afstand van toeristische plekken als Venetië en Verona. Domenico vraagt 's ochtends ook uitgebreid naar wat de plannen zijn en helpt dan om de juiste parkeergarage's of touristische hoogtepunten te vinden. Ook weet hij de heerlijkste restaurantjes in de omgeving.
De kamer had geen tv, wat de kinderen jammer vonden. Ook was het raampje in onze kamer klein waardoor we weinig uitzicht hadden. Op zich beiden geen probleem aangezien we toch vooral veel op pad waren.

Fattoria Le Vegre is a beautiful old stone farmhouse and winery in Arcugnano. The rooms are spacious and elegant. You will be greeted and taken care of by the owner Domenico, who speaks fluent English and has a great knowledge of the area. The breakfast is excellent and if you want to have dinner nearby, Domenico know several excellent restaurants or I would say hidden gems just a few minutes away.

We had a spacious room in a 500-year-old house in a vineyard. Our host was always attentive and helpful. Solid breakfast.

Nette Familie auf einem Weingut, das bis auf ein regelmäßiges Internet einen ruhigen Aufenthalt in hübscher Umgebung garantiert. Das Familienzimmer hatte eine wunderbare Größe und war sehr gut eingerichtet. In der Küche, die gleichzeitig Frühstücksraum ist, kann man einen Kühlschrank nutzen, aber auch Weine anderer Weingüter probieren.
Domenico hatte keinen eigenen Wein, weshalb wir dieses Agritourismo Weingut überhaupt gewählt hatten, empfahl uns aber einige sehr gute Adressen, auf denen wir Weine sowohl probieren als auch kaufen konnten.
Das Frühstück hat sich in 5 Tagen hat nicht einmal geändert, was für uns kein Problem war.
Zum Abendessen jedoch muß man mehrere Kilometer fahren. Vor abends um 19.30 Uhr gibt es gar nichts, auch nicht in Vicenza.
