Pendrin Guest House

The room was really comfortable! The bed is really comfy, and the room was really clean. The location is perfect! It's really close to the coastal path, and it's close to the village, Tintagel Castle, and lots of lovely restaurants such as the Olive Garden, King Arthur Cafe, and King Arthur Arms. We couldn't have asked for a better location, and it was easy to find. The owner, Marcus, was really helpful and friendly. He called us in the morning to tell us that our room was available early, and he was there to check us in. He normally runs the guest house with his wife, but, as she's away tending to a sick relative, he's currently running it by himself. He's doing the best that he can, and I think that he is doing a good job. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here!

The TV is a little small, and the toilet handle (room 4) needed to be pumped to get it to go (but once you figured that out, it wasn't an issue). There's some damp on one of the walls that Marcus said he'll be tending to. While the listing advertised breakfast at the time we booked, Marcus' wife does that, and he was unable to accommodate breakfast while she's away (unfortunately a discount was not offered). The local cafe nearby, the King Arthur Cafe, does lovely breakfast, and we ate there every morning. All in all, the issues were very minor, and we had a great stay here.

Good location for Tintagel, only a short walk into town. Comfortable bedrooms. Staff friendly and helpful on arrival.

Unfortunately, there was a problem on our day of departure that significantly delayed breakfast.
