The overall experience was first class with friendly and very helpful staff. Room was great and food excellent. Even though the heating packed up the staff dealt with it really well and it did not deter from our visit. Would recommend to anyone and may well be back.

Great location and character, but could do with some upgrading.

Great location, central to Tintagel and easy access to the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, although limited to a one-hour slot from 8-9am.

The bed was not very comfortable, being very soft, so with two people it meant we would fall towards the middle of the bed during the night. The bathroom was very small and the shower only had an overhead showerhead.

The perfect quaint inn! The staff was friendly and made everything feel like home. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. I wish we had stayed longer!

It was in a convenient position. It was quirky and has a lovely restaurant with very nice food

The room was small but I knew that when I booked! The shower was awkwardly very small and there was only water flow from above which made it difficult to escape from if not washing hair (ladies will understand..even wearing a shower cap) it also could have been generally a lot cleaner than it was.

This is a charming, romantic inn with exceptional food!!

Charming historic place with exceptional service and wonderful choices for breakfast! We chose to have both dinners here as well- The food was excellent!! Literature in the room states that mattress and sheets are professionally sanitized- Awesome! You hardly even see that!

The mattress in room 5 was very comfortable and cozy- I would only add that it sags a bit in the middle (mattress or bed frame causing it- I’m not sure). Being only a double, that does make a difference for a couple.

Fabulous pub stay in historic Tintagel

Great location. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. Lovely food and quaint room with everything you would need for a comfy overnight stay. The pub is a friendly mix of locals and guests. I have not stayed in many pubs or old properties, so this was a relatively new experience.

As it was a very old building, there was a lot of rattling in the wind at night from either an air vent in the shower or maybe just a sign outside. I didn't mind it as it's what I would expect staying somewhere with so much history, but it might disturb light sleepers. It would have been 10/10 if I hadn't scared myself!

Coming down from the Garden suite it was a very, dark wet evening and the steps were difficult to see as there was not a lot of light. It was easier coming up as the light on the stairs from inside was triggered. A rail would be a help.

Exploring Tintagel

Friendy, food amazing. It's really quirky due to the age of the building. Lovely room tastefully decorated and well thought out design.

Can't really find fault. You had to pre-order breakfast, and there was no pen, so I used eyeliner pencil.

Great characterful property in a great location.

The property had so much character, and even had resident ghosts but we didn't see one! The food was really good, we ate in the restaurant 2 out of 4 nights and had breakfast daily. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

The car charging point was an outdoor three pin plug so only useful if you have the relevant charging cable.

Excellent stay in a fab location, opposite to Tintagel Castle, beach food outlets and shops

The breakfast was hearty cooked and well presented. You had choice of cereal with yougart croissant and jam and either a light breakfast or full English all cooked beautifully. Plenrly of tea coffee orange juice and fresh water to hand.

We had an enjoyable stay at the inn even though the room was small. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful.

The location of the property was excellent. The atmosphere and staff couldn’t be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. The inn is opposite the entrance to the castle so ideally located for sightseeing and as a base to explore the area.

The room was so small it made it quite uncomfortable to move around in. There was a lack of space to put personal belongings (like toiletries). The towels were also tiny and nowhere to hang them up after showering.

Absolutely perfect

Everything about this B&B was wonderful. I stayed in Room Six—charming, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with complimentary teas and cookies, and a window overlooking the street. The location is perfect—right in the heart of town and just a short walk (about half a mile) from the castle. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty of options. I had the full Cornish on my first day, and it kept me full until evening! What truly made my stay special was the kindness of the woman at the computer. When she found out I hadn’t eaten and everything nearby was closed, she surprised me with the most delicious cake, served with ice cream and sorbet. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I’ll never forget it. I highly recommend. It’s a warm, welcoming place full of heart and hospitality.

A very warm welcome tastefully clean bedroom and good food and delicious veggie curry for evening meal.

I received a very warm welcome by a young lady who showed me to my room and everything I needed to know to make me feel comfortable. I asked for a later check out time and they were happy for me to leave my car in the car park whilst I had some time in town. The room although small was clean and tastefully decorated and everything I needed including hairdryer and supply of shower gel.

The single room was very snug and overlooked the side terrace so was quite noisy with people outside. Not great after a long drive when I wanted peace and quiet and an early night. People were noisy going to bed too. Next time I would book a double room at the back.

Basic and it helps if you are very short..

Authentic old building with character. Serving staff at dinner were good. Breakfast was tasty.

The plumbing is loud so you hear that flushing toilet by other guests at 2:15 AM and the one at 2:45 reverberate through the system. The faucet sounds like it has air in the system and belches. The pillows are hard and too thick. On a warm night the duvet is too warm and no top sheet is provided so that you can sleep with just a sheet.The music is terrible in the restaurant. From room 4 you hear the street noise if people walk by talking on the street or drive by fast or loud. You must duck your head to go through ground floor doors and even the door to the bathroom. Seems run on a shoestring with no greeter at breakfast to let you know where they are seating you for your pre-,ordered and timed breakfast. Coffee was terrible, like instant coffee.
