Everything! The location is a dream, we saw Dolphins straight from the Apartment, which is a gem btw 😉

The fact that we booked only one Night. This place deserves more nights

Het huisje is gelegen nabij een klein haventje. Vanuit het raam heb je zicht op de zee. Er is ook een buitenterras waar je nog een veel beter zicht hebt. De WC en douche zijn apart. De slaapkamer is ook erg ruim. Het is er erg gezellig. Vanuit het huis kan je mooi beginnen wandelen. Er is een ruime parking nabij het huis.

Situation exceptionnelle sur le petit port, hôte prévenant

We had a great time at Casa do Cais. Roger - the host - met us personally during the check-in, which was a very nice touch. He showed us the house which not only was very comfy, but had several artefacts reminding that it once was a working building in a busy port of the Pico island. The house had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the views and sound of the ocean. We were lucky to visit during the period when shearwaters (the birds) were present, it was very interesting to hear their calls in the evening. Roger also told us a bit about these birds because he likes them too. All of this combined ensured a magical stay for us.

When showering in the morning, we had to wait a few minutes before water turned hot. And the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak (maybe the router needs to be replaced?). This could have been better, but didn't spoil our overall experience.
