In twenty plus years with booking.com this was the best apartment we have stayed in. All of the minor annoyances we usually encounter were not there. The ensuite had a fair sized cubicle with a good shower and a basket for toiletries, there was a lot of storage space, flat surfaces near the hand basin for your toiletries, hooks on the wall and even a proper plug which worked. The sofa provided comfortable seating for both of us as did the table and four chairs. There was a wardrobe with sufficient shelves and hanging space for two people with proper wooden coat hangers not the usual pin and socket type loved by hotels.
The kitchenette is extremely well equipped with oven, induction hob, full size fridge and microwave so as to enable full self catering. There are even four bins - three dedicated to recycling. The apartment is well soundproofed both internally and externally (with the windows closed obviously). Wifi reception is excellent. This is also access to a laundry containing both washing machine and a dryer as well as the usual drying racks. Finally due to self check in we did not meet the owner but he was in constant communication with us and quickly responded to any message.
Thanks to Hurricane Gabrielle we had a two day lockdown with shops and restaurants closed. As the building is so solidly constructed I missed all the excitement by sleeping through when the hurricane hit about 2.00 am.

The apartments are modern, clean and functional. Great views. Walking distance to pastelaria Machado :). The ground floor apartment had everything our baby needed and was safe for her first steps. The owner and staff are very helpful.

The apartment is quite big, the location is good to visit the island. Wifi. Cleaning
Despite the house is clean, there is too humidity in the apartment. There are two dehumidifiers but they are not enough (the apartment does not smell good and mold in many parts of the house. Of course it is not owner’s fault and it is common in those place but I don’t recommend this place to people that have respiratory issue and asthma.
The entrance was on a small road (not privacy)
There was a door to a common terrace (not pivate).
