Great two night break in a lovely part of France

This was our second stay at this B&B. We love it. Madame Doux is charming and was very patient with us practicing our French!Her breakfasts are superb. The room and bathroom was exceptionally clean. Chauvigny is a 15 min walk. We highly recommend it to anyone and loved it just as much the second time.

Not your typical experience!

It is a home stay, which I have never done. You have your own room and bathroom in the owner’s home in a residential neighborhood with easy access. The proprietor is a lovely woman, very kind and sweet. We had a breakfast of some if her homemade baked goods, bread, coffee and juice which is included. The garden is beautiful! They do not take credit cards, just cash or check. No English is spoken. Fortunately I speak French.

Charming and comfortable stop over.

We travelled by car and our stay was an overnight stop on our way north. We speak a little French but the owner little English . She is very kindly so you would get by with Frenglish! We had the ensuite room which was very comfortable. Breakfast was traditional French and the owner sat with us and chatted. The old town is worth a look , our explorations were cullled by torrential rain! Altogether a charming and comfortable stay.

Watch out for the Google pin location as it takes you to the back garden! Just go to the street address.

A delightful place for an overnight or short stay

The hosts were delightful , friendly and helpful. An absolute gem . Great position and very safe and secure. Terrific breakfast and nice that the landlady stayed to chat. We will put it on our list of places to revisit.

Découverte de la cité médiévale de Chauvigny

Après la visite de Chauvigny, en particulier de la collégiale St Pierre, nous avons rejoint notre chambre d'hôtes. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et chambre spacieuse, aménagée avec goût et confort, en particulier un super lit électrique. Le petit déjeuner excellent, de produits faits maison, et occasion sympathique de rencontrer un autre couple autour de la table d'hôtes.
