Clean, convenient, cozy

I stayed in room number 1, it was cleaner than many hotels, and the common areas were the same, including the shower, kitchen, appliances, etc. The host responded to all my questions within a maximum of 5 minutes. Also, because I arrived early on the day of check-in, they allowed me to check in an hour early, thank you again. Being within walking distance of everything, with many markets and bakeries nearby, makes things very easy. You can choose this place with peace of mind.

The toilet door doesn't close without being locked twice, the kettle is very old, and a coffee maker could be added to the kitchen.

Hidden Gem

The cleanest hostel I have ever met. All utilities are available in the apartment. Everyone behaves themselves to maintain the public area environment. The hostel looks not in the center of the city from the map, but basically is is very walkable to the Student TRG. Buses and trams are outside 1 minute walk.

It’s a pretty decent accommodation in a nice area but for a little bit more money you can get something much better than

The room is quite spacious and the bathroom is new, although it’s a little bit strange because you have to walk through a corridor with the kitchen sink in the middle which is supposed to be a common sink for the kitchen that other guest from the other room can use

This is not really Hostel, it’s a two bedroom apartment with bathrooms outside the rooms so we have to walk through a common area to go to the bathroom. The advertise a kitchen but there is not really a kitchen. There is a small fridge shared with the other room, there’s a kettle to boil water but there’s really nothing to cook or toast some bread so I wouldn’t call it a kitchen. Probably the worst thing is that the apartment is on the ground floor right next to a busy road with trams passing so it’s quite noisy. But after all is good value for the money the place is new and clean in the area has a lot of little bakeries and cafes.

Great value for small money!

Me and my mother enjoyed our stay in Cricket Hostel, it was actually a second time I stayed there and it was just as good as a couple years ago :) The room was great and comfortable, totally worth the price! The owner is very nice and the location near supermarket and tasty coffee place was also great. I absolutely recommend it to anybody visiting Belgrade.

Loved this place!

I had a great stay and would definitely come back! The hostel is in a cool neighbourhood with lots of nice cafes, and is excellent value for money. It's nicely decorated and feels homely. It was very peaceful at night and the windows have blackout blinds, so I got a great night's sleep.

My one small criticism is that the shower head was not attached to the wall, so it was slightly awkward to wash with one hand holding the head.

Spacious

The room is really spacious and clean. It is not actually a hostel: it's a flat with 3 rooms for renting as far as I could see. We didn't see much of other guests, it was quite quiet. The location was perfect: close to the old city and the university. The host was nice and gave us some information about Belgrade.

The bed was very squeaky so we put the mattress on the floor. Otherwise, we couldn't sleep. ANother inconvenience was that they accept only cash but the host was kind enough to help solve that problem

Good location, good value for the money

Milos is a very good person. He shared the check-in procedures clearly, he offered important points also shared some good local restaurant (mostly on Dorcol). He also let us to drop our luggages after check-out. The location of the property is really good very near to a local 24h market, bus and tram station. I will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stay, great location, and a very helpful host

We had a very pleasant stay at Cricket 2 Hostel. The self check-in/check-out process was easy and well explained — the host stayed in touch with us throughout and was extremely helpful. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. Hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is great: central and convenient, but surprisingly quiet even though the building is on a main street. All in all, excellent value for money — we’d happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Great option for living in Belgrade!

Very good location. Convenient self-check-in and check-out. All instructions from the owner were provided in advance. If any questions suddenly arose, the owner was always in touch and responded promptly via WhatsApp.

Not very convenient

Place was located in a quiet area and not far from the city center. Rooms were spacious. The place was quiet and walls seem to be thick as I could hear no noise from people in other rooms. Also had shops and restaurants nearby to for shopping. Good communication from staff.

Check in was a bit awkward as I had to go to a place to collect the keys from which was a little difficult to find. Also place was dark when going in at night which made it hard to see when climbing up stairs. Also Rooms were not cleaned during stay and didn't know how to get TV to work. One night I had trouble turning the lock and had to contact staff. I dont think I will stay here again

Central, clean, great host

It was really clean everywhere, we could use microwave and kettle for our needs. Our host Miloš was very helpful with every instruction. It was just by the zoo and Kalemegdan and there were many bus/tram stops around it, so it was very convenient

Personally i would prefer a thicker pillow, it would be better, but it’s not a big problem..

Better than any expectation

We really enjoyed our stay there. Rooms are cozy , even the lobby was a cozy place. Milo provided us great information about Dorcol district and city centre with an amazing map and many tips on restaurants depending on our likes. Bathroom was clean and had always hot water for a late winter's bath after a walk on Dorcol's amazing bars. The bed was one of the best things. I think I haven't slept better in a while. Everything was just perfect and the funny thing was tha we couldn't believe that we had found such an amazing place to stay in such a low price. Yes , this might sound crazy but there's still some great and affordable places to stay out there. Cricket 2 Hostel is one of the best.

The lobby could have some kind of small kitchen or oven so we could cook something.

Wonderful stay at a very central location and super warm & cosy apartment

Milos and Andrijana hosted me and my girlfriend wonderfully! Our host welcomed us to the apartment herself, explained us the city map and gave us local recommendations. We had our trip in winter and the weather was pretty cold but the room was super warm & cosy. The AC was on all the time and kept the room always warm enough. The room & shared places in the apartment (kitchen, bathroom, entrance) were very clean. The host provides you with clean towels, sheets, hairdryer and the apartment has basic kitchen amenities & microwave as well. Don't forget to bring your own shampoo, hair conditioner etc. though! The apartment has an amazing central location; 3 mins away from 24/7 open supermarket and tram & bus stop, 10 mins to the Republic Square & Skadarlija, 15 mins to Kalemegdan & Knez Mihailova and many more popular tourist attractions.

Maybe request a thicker pillow in advance if you're not comfortable with thin pillows.

Beautiful Belgrade

It was very close to the city center. Everything was great, we had lovely hosts, who helped us with what we need like a taxi to the airport. Great and fast communication. A lot of space in our room.

I really liked the spacious, bright room with a beautiful balcony and a comfortable bed. In essence, this is an apartment with three rooms, from which a hostel is made. Great location in the city center, but on a quiet street! Nice owner!

It’s a pity that the kitchen doesn’t have at least a small stove, wine glasses and a bottle opener. It's not convenient that check-in is until 18:00

Historic Stay Right by Skadarlija

The owner provided great instruction for self check in and out! There was an issue with the plumbing at the original location but they had us stay across the street and honored the original price. The apartment felt brand new and was very clean! Great location and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for awhile. We were also given a wealth of recommendations from the owner for restaurants, bars, and attractions. We had a terrific time in Belgrade because of them!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cricket hostel. Our room was in a beautiful old building. The room was spotlessly clean and the location was great. Milos was very kind to move us to another room when there were problems with the bathroom of the original room we booked. He was very friendly and quickly responded.
